Used this item to cover my closet rod. It makes moving the clothes on hangers so much easier. The color is vibrant and the material is a sturdy plastic.

I was surprised at how sturdy this cover is. It gets shipped in a strong tube so it doesn't get damaged during shipping. It was very easy to install and super functional, just cut to size and slide in on. Plus it's a decent value for the money. Now nobody can see how old and rusted my shower curtain rod actually is. LOL Plus you get to color coordinate with it. I love it!

We used this to cover the ugly closet rod. Absolutely changed the look of the closet. Hangers still fit and our glamour girl is so happy with her closet makeover.

The plastic rod cover is as described. Over priced?...yes. But it works & mine were not damaged in shipping. HUGE ridiculously long shipping box.The silver color matches my rod ends. It gaps a little in 2 places but the shower curtain slides over the bulges easy enough. It's not perfect astedickly, but functional. If I knew how to take my rod down, I'd have sanded & spray painted it for $6.

Does what it’s supposed to do covers my ugly shower rod and looks nice

The media could not be loaded. I have been to all local stores in search of this and finally found it through Amazon.The children’s shower curtain now slides smoothly across and the curtain rings do not get caught on top of each other, do not tangle or fall. It so super simple to snap right on. I had to cut about an inch off with just regular scissors. The plastic is sturdy yet still easy to slide on. It practically snaps into place on its own.I recommend this product and will buy it again as needed.Compared to 20 years ago, when these rod covers were sold even at dollar stores, they are expensive but everything has sky rocketed in price these past 2 years. Hasn’t it?

This was much easier to install than I expected. I measured the rod and cut the cover to fit. Putting it on the rod wasn't hard as there is a slit down the center of the cover. If you're doing it alone then take it slowly as the cover is stiff and doesn't open easily. If you go too fast you'll end up bending it. I imagine it would be faster and easier with two people.I got the silver cover mainly because I didn't see a shade of purple that I liked. The shower curtain hooks slide smoothly over it which is nice as the rod it is covering was rough and the hooks didn't slide at all. It came with two covers so I have a bonus in case the first one wears out. It is a little costly but the quality is good.

I have a bathroom in our addition that is under the eaves, and the builders installed a metal rod, custom cut with an angle entry into the outside wall-side bracket/cup. This rod sheds oxidized black dust. When we decided to fix up the room, the rod could not easily be replaced because of this, so I decided to give these rod covers a try. They arrived quickly, with the two-pack consisting of one rod inside the other, easily separated. The rod covers are nice quality, not overly shiny or dented in any way, easily snipped to size and installed in mere minutes. They do exactly what I wanted them to do and look very nice. I would have given this a utilitarian 5 stars except the outside rod cover was marred with aged residue from several large labels/stickers, which was not easily removed. I started to but gave up, because it did not seem possible to scrape without damage, and I don't know if the plastic rod cover could stand up to any kind of solvent you'd need to dissolve it. This wasn't really a problem for me since I only needed one cover, but if you need two, beware. I've added a photo of the rod cover installed, to show how nice it looks, and a pic of the other one with lots of sticker residue. The attempt to remove the top sticker residue was there when it arrived.
