Hydrogarden Garland 1.2m² Tray - 12cm Depth - 120cm x 120cm x 12cm

I ordered one of these trays at first for my tomato seedlings which I started off in my kitchen and as they shot up in size I bought another tray to keep them on. They've been perfect for me because they fit exactly onto my worktop and prevent any dirt and water from getting onto the surface below. They're made of strong plastic and I think, they are going to last for years. I managed to get a lot of plant pots on them and now the tomatoes have been transferred to the greenhouse, I've kept them on the trays on the floor to keep the cold off. I shopped around and it was the excellent price as well as the correct size which attracted me to these. The robustness and quality exceeded my expectations. The packaging was great too.

I got this tray for using with paint pouring as it is a messy hobby. The tray at a meter square was big enough we could have 2 canvases inside and room to place bottles of paint too. The sides are a decent height in this tray, and it’s really sturdy, worked great for not only catching paint dripping off the canvases but preventing it from covering the kitchen as we used straws to blow paint across the canvas as well. It cleans up nice, and will certainly be used again. I am storing is side on currently, saves space, and the tray is fine this way not going out of shape or anything. I was looking for a standard try but none were big enough, this one looks great they have various diff sizes, and could easily be used for a number of different things, I would buy again if I needed, and if I had a green house or something would certainly be looking here first for plant trays, these are great trays. My only complaint is not about the tray itself, but that the box it was sent in was huge, and so much paper wrapping inside, totally unnecessary, it could have been shipped as it was in some plastic film or something. So the tray is great, the enormous box and packaging total waste (we have recycled it but even so).

This is extremely sturdy and well made, so really a five star item. However, I am (perhaps unfairly) knocking off a star for the lack of accurate description of the dimensions here. I did think that a 60cm square tray would be just big enough to accommodate a 54.5cm round barbeque grill for cleaning. I was wrong. It is about 1 cm too small, the dimensions here are the external ones. Maybe my mistake, but I think it would be better if that was made clearer. So do I buy another one, or make do? Decisions, decisions.

Large enough for what I needed.

Ordered to put under a 60 cm x 60 cm leaking washing machine. Was going to cut the front side, to help access for washing machine and drainage, but in the end managed to get washing machine in to tray, without buckling the side (side was strong enough to have washing machine resting on it). Outer dimensions of tray are 80 cm x 80 cm, but inner dimensions at inner base are only 71.5 cm x 71.5 cm, due to sloping sides. So, fitted washing machine with ~6 cm clearance all round. Realised I needed access to a drainage panel at front, so pushed washing machine to back of tray, giving ~13 cm clearance at front. Height of tray is ~12 cm. Test runs have seemed to work okay. The tray + washing machine is quite easy to slide (which is handy), and the machine does NOT seem to move around when running (if this was an issue, I suppose anti-slip pads could be added). Delivered in the biggest Amazon box I have ever received! I feel quite a useful tray to have, for many purposes. NB. Amazon description + comparison table says that Material = Vinyl Alloy Steel but I don't think this is right. Label on tray says: '100% recycled plastic'; 'injection moulded tray' and 'Tough rigid plastic - resistant to all garden chemicals and oils'. (No real idea of thickness of plastic(?) throughout, as I didn't cut it; and thickness may vary in injection moulding, but edge lip thickness measured (roughly) at 3mm thick)

Bought to act as water reservoir for veg plants in large buckets. These are massive and can be used for all sorts of things such as oil drip trays, potting areas, plant trays, shoe storage. They are good strong pieces of plastic. Hubby has his eye on it for his garage but I want it for my seedlings next spring. A useful thing to have.

tray is 1.2mx1.2mx12cm and is ight enough to be carried by small female. Holds a large amount of plant pots for ease of watering

Good depth for use with hybrid rain gutter grow system and 1 gallon bags for herbs.

I love this tray! I'm disabled, in a wheelchair, and keeping a productive grow, having this tray not only saves on the wear and tear on my grow tent floor from sliding pots around from back to front, etc., it also makes it much easier for me to slide them around and to keep the floor clean. Definitely adds a look and feel of professionalism too. Very good quality rigid plastic, cheaper than similar trays I looked at. It was kind of crazy when this monstrosity of a box showed up on our step but, I couldn't be happier with this investment in my garden. Any kind of mess or spill is a breeze to clean up having this in place, especially with a small shop-vac handy.

I am VERY happy with this purchase, it arrived in one week & undamaged, it is VERY sturdy. I made this into a "Potty Station/Doggy Potty Box" for my 4lb. Yorkshire Terrier. I found some 32 inch square pee pads here on Amazon to place inside. The 5 inch sides keeps the dog from "missing her mark" on the pee pads, keeping my floor clean now! Only complaint is the price. But it is exactly what I have been looking for!
