CND Vinylux Long Wear Nail Polish (No Lamp Required), 15 ml, Red, Hollywood

this is wonderful nail varnish I love the vibrant colour and it dries in minutes

My expectations of this nail polish were high, and at first, I wasn't overly impressed. I thought it was no better than a regular nail polish, however, I take that thought back! It has lasted a week, and it IS shiny:) The only thing is, it kind of wears off the top of the nails, or it could be that my nails were just growing. I needed to apply 2 coats for a smooth effect, and next time, I will apply a top coat. It dries very quickly and is a good quality nail polish. The service was really good from the seller, as well. I chose the 'Hollywood' shade, which is a deep red colour, very rich and glossy. I have bought a pink one too,as over all, it's a relatively good performer, compared to other ones I've tried. Doesn't damage the nails either, in my experience. I was delighted with the product, and can safely recommend it to others, though we all have different ideas of what is good. I'm hard to please, and i consider this nail varnish to be worth a try:)I've never tried the Shellac though, as I have heard it can be tough on the nails, on removal.Might buy one and find out for myself.

It's a lovely colour and goes on well.. But it starts chipping 2 days later. Not a great at it's made up to be.. just like normal nail polish

This is the first time I have used Vinylux but it was recommended by a beauty therapist friend so thought I'd give it a go. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with it...the colour is a lovely, deep rich burgundy, it goes on really smoothly and neatly ( a bonus for someone with a dodgy shaky hand like me!) and dries incredibly quickly to a smooth, glossy sheen. I've given it 4 stars not 5 mainly because I don't think it lives up to it's 7day claim...more like 3 or 4...which is still amazing for someone like me whose hands get a hard time in and out of water, I'll definitely be buying more colours

These polishes are great they do last for a week and the best thing of all is no damage to your nails like with other nail treatments. In the process my own nails have grown and look fab no more salon shellac treatments or damaged nails. Any polish remover will take it off don't actually need the cnd one will be trying other colours this one is particularly lovely very rich and glamorous looking.

Perfect polish for December, Christmas and for the Holidays or simply just for winter time. I love this, gives festive feels! I plan to paint my white nails this color (crimson red) as shown in the photos, tomorrow. So all my nails will be the metallic red! I plan on doing another review tomorrow or whenever it is that i paint my nails all this colour. If you’re looking for a shiny metallic looking polish for the holidays, this is the one! (I also did it with matte top coat on my thumb but didn’t like the feel of it so i re-did it as shown in the photos just on my ring fingers and prefer it glossy!)

Chipped off the next day even with a top coat on. For a more expensive nail polish like this, I would expect it to last longer.

I've worn acrylics for decades, but after the pandemic imposed a nearly two-year break from having a full set, my manicurist and I were perplexed that the nail powder and tips were not adhering to my nails for longer than a few days. In an attempt to give me the same look as the acrylics, we decided to try using gel nail polish with the acrylics to see if the full set would adhere longer. The good news is that it worked. My acrylics lasted longer and didn't start lifting just days after service. But the bad news? After a few days, my cuticles started bleeding and the skin on my fingertips started to crack and peel. It was so painful that I couldn't type without pain -- which at the time was detrimental because I was on deadline to finish a book manuscript and literally lost weeks while figuring out what was wrong. I saw a dermatologist and learned that I was severely allergic to two chemicals used in gel nail polish. So we removed the polish and the acrylics and I went natural while my fingers and nails healed. The next problem was to find a brand of polish that was safe to use. I'd tried a few brands of 7-free and 10-free polish, and while I liked them, they took forever to dry and didn't last very long. Enter CND and its amazing Vinylux line of polishes, with no base coat needed. Two coats of color and one top coat and you're good to go! And the best yet? It dries super fast! I still have a bit of chipping after a few days - mostly my own fault because I forget to wear gloves while doing dishes sometimes - but otherwise I am quite happy with this brand. I've got three colors that I love, and several more on my wish list. Highly recommended!
