The LED FCOB lighting is excellent but I had to abandon and return unused spools because there are no reliable COB strip to wire connectors. Each non-reuseable connector meant I had to shorten or abandon my strip if the connector failed. One bad connector even had a strip smoking. Such a shame.

BTF lighting is always rock solid. Have used these in aluminum tracks around ceilings, in My master bath under the window and mirror for accent lighting and now on my basement steps.

Works perfectly! I combined with a good controller and was able to get very good results with the color selection. Very easy to install! I installed in a few spots around the house and don’t regret. Also pretty bright!!!

Love the light strips, very high density and the rubber diffuser that is built in makes any other diffuser unnecessary while still looking professional grade. Best light strips I've used, very reasonably priced A couple of notes: because of the pin orientation, generic 5 pin solderless clips don't work. I tried ordering their kits, but gave up and ended up soldering the connections myself. One negative note about the included controller: I ordered the RGBW (warm white) kit with the controller. It does integrate with voice assistants, but only on the RGB channel. So if you try to turn the lights white, it will default to RGB white (harsh, very cold/blue) instead of using the white channel. I haven't yet found a workaround, and will probably end up just switching out the controller.

as long as you have enough power supply. These lights are the brightest leds I found so far in a Cobb strip with RGBW. and I have gone through many different brands looking for the brightest.

I put these both over and under our kitchen cabinets for indirect lighting and we love them. What's good about these for this purpose is the LEDs are close together and they are covered with a built in diffuser which allows for more uniform light (no light spotting from each individual LED). I'm controlling these with a SP530e controller and it works fine. Phone app is pretty decent. See my review on it for more details. I'm powering these with Mean Well 24v power supplies (selected them based on reviews) and they work well. Again, see my separate review on it for more details. I also bought the kit of plastic crimp connectors & splice wires, but that kit garbage (see my review on that product for details). Do yourself a favor if you buy this LED light strip and buy some 18 gauge wire and a good soldering iron instead (if you don't already have one) and solder the wires directly to the LED strip. Be aware that these LED strips can only do a single color of your choice at any point in time (no chasing patterns), which was fine for our kitchen. I also bought some of the FCOB IC version to put on our deck (party area) as those can do multi color patterns such as chasing, but I don't have those installed yet.

I got a set of these to install in the ceiling of my screened in porch for mood lighting. They are fantastic and work perfectly with the recommended wireless controller module. I plan to install more in my theater room. The only drawback was that the included splicing connectors are only intended for connecting wires to the end of a cut section. They do not work for splicing two cut ends together, but this would not be a concern for most purchasers I imagine. You can cut easily these strips and attach wire leads to the resulting segments so they can be used independently. And... most important, they look fantastic!
