Threads on Valve were cut to correct standard and sealed good
Nice 2" SS BALL Valve for the price. I'm using it on my 6.5 HP pump outletI would buy it again if needed.

Good value in a 2" valve
Everything was spot on with this valve. Needed a 2" stainless to help with the freezing temps in winter. Threads were perfect and fit my water tanks without issues. No leaks. I have since installed these on all my tanks, four total, and have a backup for my last remaining tank that has a pvc ball on it. For the price you can't beat it.

It does not fit the standard copper fittings.
The female end is too small for the standard copper fittings. It damaged my existing male copper adapter when I tried to tighten it.

Great ball valve. I used them on moister traps. They hold up well used the on a fleet of truck.

NOT NPT! STRAIGHT THREAD!
IT MAY NOT WORK UNDER HIGH PRESSURE AND WILL NOT TIGHTEN BUT BOTTOM OUT INSTEAD A UNION IS A MUST.

Should have gone with brass
Valve itself is fine but stainless steel is not ideal for NPT threading. Going into malleable iron threads don't deform to give a good bite. Can tighten it with all you got, even with a cheater bar. But just a bump the other way it'll spin out freely. Had to be mindful where to hold the pipe wrench lining up the other tees and elbows. I ordered 3 of these, male and female taper was fine. Steel is just a poor material for NPT.
