This is a great investment ...esp. aa from MMTC and PAMP. It arrived nicely packed in a sealed steel box , so chances of pilferage is less ( but take your own precautions in terms of taking delivery etc ) ... Advice - Please wait and buy during festive sales and all, when credit card discounts the sale price by around one thousand odd rupees and it becomes reasonable to purchase

Order was delivered at door before the expected delivery date. Outer Packaging was temper proof. The plastic pack stick so nicely that you have to cut thru , one cannot simply open and paste like a normal regular sticker. Amazon and Flipkart at times offer facility of "Open by delivery person before receiving". Customer has to be adamant of doing so because of high value small product that can easily be counterfeit. Inner packaging of tin also is tempered proof with plastic zip-tie. Especially when buying in discount of bank offer, it is worth. However, if you get Bangalore refinery product or other at cheaper rate, go for that, MMTC usually is selling at premium price. NOTE 1 - A lot many reviews for similar product from MMTC or other manufacturer read slight misplacement of gold, these can be ignored because it is not vaccum pack, it is a spacing from where the gold coin/pendant has some space to move around when shaken. I have not tested it by opening the card itself, but by looking at it and reading the name itself jeweler offered 100% value without any cut to buy. Usually Jeweler sell 995 purity calling that 24 carat, at XYZ market price, as this was 999.9 purity, they checked card sealed only and did not deduct any money which brings confidence in customer to buy again. Note 2 - as per my analysis, these packed coins are good if we plan to gift someone. However for Physical Gold investment perspective, these would be my 2n choice as mentioned in above note, 1st choice would be a local jeweler of my native home town with family owned business. Those bullions will sell at MCX market rate + 2-2.5 K Rs for 100 gram physical gold of 995 purity. they deduct 2-2.5k only when buy back - resale from MCX market price. making this deal more reasonable. However for people not having connection or unavailability of family owned jeweler shop MMTC /Bangalore refinery is a good choice.
