Tovolo Perfect Cube Ice Tray, Set of 2, Stratus Blue

Product exactly as described and delivered very quickly. Purchased my first ones mid 2013 and still going strong, really pleased with them so bought some more for ice cubes a plenty! A robust but flexible material, easy to fill and very easy to remove the cubes. Cubes are a good large size (3.2 cm) so they do not melt quickly and dilute the drink.

Really Great ice tray, the cubes are fairly big, bigger that i expected. I actually wanted smaller ice cubes but the tray is just so awesome i can't not love it. Like normal ice the ice can come out a bit to a lot cloudy, i will have to experiment with filtered and boiled water to see if i can get some clearer cubes for say when we host for a few cocktails. Having a mound of ice made from these cubes looks awesome, the perfect 1" (or so) cubes look great. Having a mound of perfect clear cubes would be stunning It is a silicone tray, you may not want that. Its not a super easy to empty tray but you can do a cube at a time without emptying half the tray. For me its brilliant and i hope to never own another tray (also check out the amazon.com age for loads of reviews)

Great size cubes, easy to remove from the mould, doesn’t take up much room in the freezer

I have tried many different ice cube trays but somehow tovolo have managed to get the optimum type of silicone. It is solid enough that you can carry it filled from the sink to the freezer without spilling water everywhere, but is stretchy enough to allow cubes to be easily removed. It's expensive but I expect it will last a lifetime.

Brilliant product, had them a month, just a doddle to get the cubes out, trays seem tough, lovely big ice cubes, great for a G&T or in a cocktail shaker. Did take a couple of weeks to arrive, but I didn't realise they came from US so that was explainable.

I had a similar set of silicone ice cube trays that were absolutely perfect: the bottom of the trays was a bit thin and wobbly, which meant that I had to pay attention when filling them and taking them to the freezer, but it also meant that the ice cubes came out easily. I ended up giving them to a friend and then purchasing these trays to replace them, as I couldn't tell which brand my other trays were. The base on these trays is much thicker and more stable, which makes it easier to carry them to the freezer, but it also means that it's harder to get the ice cubes out. If I hadn't had the other trays before, I might be happy with these, as they're much better than the usual plastic ice trays. Very bendable, and no worries about them breaking.

Love the size of the ice cubes and they come out easily. This is my 2nd set as love them so much.

I've had these trays for over a year now and I'm really pleased with them, they have held up to daily use and show no signs of wear and tear. These trays make perfect cubes every time which I love. They are large and stable, a lot of ice Cubes crack when removing them from traditional trays however with these they never do. The only draw back is that the cubes do not fall out of the tray, you have to twist them and then push the cubes out individually. It only takes a couple seconds and two cubes is plenty for a can of cola or similar sized drink. If you're taking them per drink it's not an issue, I could see though if you wanted to make a bucket of ice it would be more tedious than the trays that you can knock the whole tray out at once with.

Bought a set of these eleven years ago and just bought an additional set so I can make more ice at once, since not having enough ice has been an issue lately. The cubes are the perfect size for any glass. It's very easy to pop them out. Dishwasher safe. They've held up well over time (hence buying more of the same rather than seeking out a new style).

I've only gone through the trays twice, but I already love these cubes. They are bigger than normal cubes and seem to stay frozen a lot longer. More importantly (for me and I'd assume most people looking at these) they look great. Theres something about perfect ice that makes a glass of iced tea just look better. A lot of people have commented on the off flavor that these can provide. I agree in that when I received my package they didn't smell the freshest. They definitely had some kind of lubricant from the manufacturing process on them. I rinsed them with blue dawn and then let them soak with some dilute vinegar solution (roughly 1:10 vinegar:water). I used apple cider vinegar because its what I had on hand. After a 10 minute soak and a quick rinse the tray had no discernible off odor and the cubes came out tasting like regular ice. I'd also heard that the cubes were difficult to remove, but I didn't have quite that experience. They don't fall out of the tray like an old school plastic tray, but I think thats done on purpose a bit. If you're going to take the time to make perfectly shaped cubes would you want to let them tumble out and chip corners off? A little push up on the bottom of each cube gets it out far enough that I can grab it and lift it out and the mold snaps right back to shape. It does take a second or two to remove each cube but that adds up to maybe 45 seconds for the entire tray? In short is not that big of a hassle. Overall I'd say these are as close to perfect as you're going to get especially if you fixate on making pretty drinks. The cubes are not only functional, but look amazing and to me thats well worth a quick vinegar rinse and a few extra seconds to take them out of the tray.

ich wollte Eiswürfelbehälter, die Schadstofffrei sind und einfach in der Bedienung. Die Lieferung hat etwas gedauert, da sie aus den USA kommen, das wußte ich aber schon. Ich benutze sie um mein Obst einzufrieren, ich kann sie dann in Gefriertüten stecken und je nach Bedarf entnehmen. Ich benutze diese auch gerne für Smoothies. Auch gut für Baby- oder Kindernahrung zum Einfrieren. Das gefrorene Obst läßt sich einfach herausdrücken, unter heißem Wasser sind die Teile schnell gewaschen. Man kann sie auch in die Spülmaschine stecken, das tue ich jedoch nicht gerne. Ich habe zwei Größen bestellt. Beide sind super. 20.01.2015 Nach mehrmaligen Benutzen bin ich immer noch zufrieden, bis auf eine Sache, das kann ich nicht akzeptieren. Ich habe Grünkohl eingefroren in den Behältern und nach der gründlichen Reinigung war der Geruch nicht mehr wegzubekommen, weder in Zitronenwasser, Essigwaser noch mehrmals Eiswürfel herstellen. Ich habe den Vertreiber "Us Kitchen Company" angeschrieben, was sie dazu meinen, jetzt bin ich gespannt, denn so, kann man die Behälter nicht mehr benutzen, der Geruch geht auf alles was man einfriert über. 31.01.2015 Heute erst kam die Antwort von der "Fima US Kitchen Company", die Behälter wären nur für Eis und bei Lebensmittel würden sie den Geruch annehmen. Jedoch die King Tovolo Behälter (große Würfel) sind aus dem gleichen Material und da wird mit Saft, Lebensmittel etc. geworben, diese habe ich zusammen erworben. Wenn sie das bei der Produktbeschreibung erwähnen würden, dann würde man den Fehler nicht machen und Produkte einfrieren, deren Geruch man nie wieder herausbekommt. In USA wird gerade viel Werbung gemacht für diese Behälter, dass man mit diesen Behältern Babynahrung, Obst, Gemüse und Säfte einfrieren kann und alles BPA-frei. Was natürlich erfreulich ist, kein Mensch oder Kind wird jedoch Obst mit Spinat, Grünkohl oder anderen Gerüchen essen wollen. Daher habe ich meine 5 Sterne zurückgenommen.
