Replacement 3.5 mm Male Con-x
Electronics manufacturers don't make it easy to keep your audio products up and running under normal wear & tear, so this replacement plug solves a very common issue. The wires are extremely thin, and the ends should be more exposed to facilitate connecting to the existing wires, but it works!

Failed after use in mp3 player
REVISED: I bought a fancy male to male 1/8 cord, cut one end off and replaced this one... it broke in less than a week. Apparently this jack is par for the course. Changing from 3 stars to 4 stars. ORIGINAL: I purchased this jack to replace a broken one on a pair of earbuds used for an mp3 player during workouts. After only a few weeks this jack failed. It seems like an mp3 player is a common enough usage that it should have been able to stand up to that wear. While troubleshooting, pushing and bending of the connection brought the audio in and out.
