I’ve been enjoying these very pretty melamine dishes a lot this summer. The Tuscan pattern is lovely, the color is vibrant. However, why would I want to hand wash the dinner plates that don’t fit on the top shelf as recommended? So I’ve decided to go ahead and put the large plates on the lower rack and live with the consequences. I’ve only put them through 3 times but so far they don’t appear faded. I was trying to reduce my carbon footprint and not using disposable plastic plates but also not have to hand wash, horrors. They are lovely looking and of course far safer and lighter to use out on patio. Look forward to enjoying for a long time. Crossing my fingers that they don’t fade in dishwasher’s lower level.

It's a very colorful set but it's plastic and can't be used in the microwave. For the same amount of money you can find even better porcelain sets which are also microwave safe. It's expensive

I bought these for the combination of looks and practicality, and I have not been disappointed. They are very pretty, even to use for guests. I live in a country where houses almost universally have tile counters and floors, lots of hard surfaces. I can't tell you how many traditional dishes I have broken. These dishes look great, don't break, and are very easy to clean. I started with one set and then bought more because I liked them so much.
