The whole set is gorgeous-no nicks or cracks. The spatulas easily go under fried eggs-used on cast iron and non-stick cookware and the pasta utensil works surprisingly well. They also wash up easily.

Beautiful and substantial feeling in the hand! I bought this set to replace the silicone/plastic utensils I kept in a crock on my countertop - I wanted it to look better and function just as well. I am pleased! The only thing that I think could be improved is the handle length on some of the utensils; they seemed a little short. There are 2 pieces in the set that appear to be great salad utensils - they are perfect as is! I'm willing to take the extra step to clean, dry and oil to have these beautiful utensils!

I’m very happy with this wooden spoon set. It comes with 10 pieces, which makes it very practical for everyday cooking. The wood feels solid, smooth, and well-finished, with no rough edges. They are gentle on nonstick cookware and comfortable to hold. I also love how beautiful they look — simple, natural, and high quality. They clean easily and feel durable, not cheap at all. Great gifts. Each utensil is beautifully wrapped and then they are all in a sturdy box. If you aren't buying for yourself, you can gift as a set or gift the individual pieces. Would make really nice stocking stuffers. The pieces are gorgeous. Nice variety of function items. I bought them to replace my black plastic utensils. Very pleased.

Cracked a spoon right down the center on first use, so that was pretty disappointing. Never had a wooden spoon do that before. Otherwise, these are lovely to cook with. The colors are nice (remember to keep lightly oiled) and they hold up well to steam and boiling. the spurtle is probably the most useful piece in the set.

The utensils are very nice. High quality. Nicely crafted. My main concern is most of the handles are shorter than I imagine, plus having my hand close to the pots due to the heat and splattering of liquid food like soup. I haven't decided if I am going to return the set or keep them. The length of all the handles could be longer. Due to the handles, I rate it a 3. As far as the quality of the set, I rate it a 5. I hope that makes sense. 1-7-26 Update. I decided to keep the utensils and give an overall 5 stars rating. They are really nice. A good grip on the handle. Easy to clean. After washing the utensils and letting them air dry, I used "Thirteen Chefs food grade mineral oil" to maintain, protect, and restore the utensils. I recommend this set.

I love these utensils. The are sturdy and very attractive. I use them everyday. The utensils are think and aren’t cheaply made. There are varying sizes for different cooking applications. I’ve purchased 2 sets so far.

These are among the very best wooden utensils that one can find. They are made of solid, one-piece wood. No conjoined pieces and no glue. All of the pieces have good thickness and good polish and smoothness. But if the product itself isn’t enough, the customer support and service should certainly be a factor in one’s decision to go with this product. Their customer care is absolutely, and I mean absolutely, top-notch and truly outstanding. I ordered and received the 10-piece set that arrived in a sturdy product box. The individual utensils were each wrapped in tissue paper with a sticker to hold the wrapping intact. Very nice presentation. I unwrapped each utensil and found them to be hefty and solid. Although not dramatically malformed, two of the pieces were a bit less than perfect to my eye. The skimmer spoon wasn’t totally round, and the wok spatula had a somewhat warped straight edge that also had uneven thickness. I took a few photos of these pieces and emailed them to customer service. I immediately heard back with strong apologies and a promise to take care of the problem. The few rounds of communication that were necessary were all extremely cordial, considerate, and to-the-point and effective. I was quickly sent replacements along with email messages updating me about every little step in the process. I had expected to receive just the two misshapen pieces, but, to my surprise, they sent me a complete 6-piece set that included the two pieces that I had contacted them about. You can’t go wrong with this product and the service is truly wonderful.

Solid construction, light, good material, are able to withstand use in hot cast iron. They look great and each one is useful. Very happy with this purchase
