Functional, but not 5.25' x 3.5'
I bought this for the size for tap dancing. It is 41" x 59". NOT 42" x 63" as stated. The pleasant part is that the seams do not affect tap dancing. The sound as ok. . If placed on a carpet the sound is somewhat muffled if that is a concern.

work great, easy to put together, portable.
I got 3x2 tiles, have taken only one virtual tap dance class so far, but they worked very well. Snapping together is easy; taking them apart took just a little bit of muscle. They fit perfectly in this extra-large extra-strength heavy duty shopping bag - but are pretty heavy to lug around.

Beyond my expectations
I am more than pleased and was surprised. I’m so happy about the sound and quality of the material, so much so that I’m considering ordering the smaller floor to add to the size of the current one.
