Great Upgrade especially for AV1 Encoding
I got this mainly for AV1 encoding and I'm well pleased with the results , I went from encoding speeds of 35fps to over 500fps and it only takes 4 minutes to encode a movie in HD , you need to play with the settings as the drivers are still not there yet and the default settings give you large files , so I've found using Bitrate settings give you a better result with smaller files , saves you a lot of time and electricy

Resizable BAR is very important
I've got two of these in a SFF case under Proxmox each dedicated to it's own Windows VM. You only get half FPS if you don't switch on Resizable BAR in the BIOS. They game pretty well, two gaming machine in one case.

Quiet and decent for transcoding.
Used for transcoding in unraid. Really quiet and capable little card.

Buy this only if you have Resizable BAR in BIOS
What Amazon description doe snot show is the most important part you must know and that is that this GPU will not be useful on Dell Tower 7810 workstation, because and as by example, the motherboard (despite being great) does not have BIOS setting for Resizable BAR -- and this is spelled out in black and white on the box, but not on Amazon product description. I was not able to get this to work as a performance GPU with Corel Painer 2023, JangaFX software, BorisFX, Vegas Pro 21 and many more pro tools that rival GPUs handle well.

Great card for the price
This was a spare of the moment buy..was thinking what to update on my budget build, since gaming on a gigabyte rtx2070 for ages I thought I’ll have a change so looking around plus watching videos on this card I thought I’ll take a punt on it….what can I say for something that cost just over £280 I can’t fault it…the games I play like new world, last epoch, D4, runs really nice, and it seems with every update driver they do seems to improve the performance, I haven’t had the card long but will come back after a few more weeks.

Died within less of a month of usage.
I used this in my home server for Jellyfin, not even gaming and it died within less of a month.

Does not work with older computers
This graphic card did not work with an old Dell Optiplex SFF I was trying to upgrade. In terms of size and power usage, this card seemed perfect. When I installed it onto my PC, it fit correctly and my PC booted up fine, everything looked extremely promising until I tried to install the drivers. The drivers installation froze and caused the graphics card to become unresponsive. I tried this multiple times by booting into safe mode and reinstalling different versions of the driver, but to no success. Upon further investigation I learnt that older CPU and motherboards may not be supported. This was a real shame as I thought I had found my perfect GPU.

Excelente opción para transcodificar en formato AV1 por un precio que ninguna opción de NVIDIA es capaz de ofrecer. La metí en un servidor antiquísimo (771, DDR2) que no cuenta con resizable bar y funciona bien igualmente. Jellyfin transcodifica AV1 1080p a unos 50 FPS, y H265 4K a 100 y poco. Además, este modelo en particular no hace prácticamente ruido, ya que los ventiladores raramente se ponen en marcha (no les hace falta, ya que no se calienta mucho). No podría estar más contento con la compra

Using Linux Kernel 6.6+, this is a GREAT choice for hardware acceleration. Extremely pleased with the performance this card provides.

It works really well. Valorant 180 consistent FPS Some steam games like 200 on max graphics Fortnite has a consistent 60 unless you play on lower graphics then it's around 120 it can handle Roblox on max graphics with HORRIBLE particle spam but it still has almost no lag. For 200 dollars it's really worth it! It does sag a bit in my case but I think that's because my case is blocking it from going deeper within the socket. Other wise for how much it is, ITS WORTH IT!

I like this video card a lot. I'm not a gamer, so I cannot judge how this card performs while playing games. I'm a graphic designer and I create images using Adobe software. This ARC A380 card does its job very well. Combining this with a motherboard that supports resizable BAR and installing the latest drivers, results in a very smooth experience, despite its rather modest specifications. I have another computer with a nvidia RTX with more or less same specifications, which operates at the same speed, but costs twice as much. For content creating, the ARC A380 does the job at an unbeatable price. And it's very quiet.

Using this for a Tdarr node for my Plex server, as well as one in my Plex server. The Tdarr node reencodes media faster than my 4080. And my Plex server easily manages 8+ streams without issue. All while not needing any additional power connectors. Probably sucks for anything else. But for AV1 work it goes hard.
