We ordered these amplicomms because my mother is very hard of hearing, the previous amplicomms she had finally stopped working. They looked exactly the same as the previous ones, but they changed 2 key features, the boost buttons can no longer be kept on permanently, and as her memory is fading she can't apply logic enough to press said boost button, she now can't hear me without help. And the second most annoying thing the ring tones have changed, not one amongst the actually sounds like a telephone, just some generic electronic alarm, she wanders around trying to find out where it is coming from but doesn't recognise the sound. These should be made for the elderly who are hard of hearing, but whoever designed them has no idea how frustrating for the family and the owner not being able to communicate 😕

Supposed to be for the hard of hearing, well the ring is loud enough but even on fill volume you'd struggle to hear the person at the other end of the call
