Great expansion and can be used with the agora expansion as well to expand the game even more. Really interesting use of the game to have purchasing a deity as an action. Really enjoyable expansion and had loads of fun using this with Agora as well.

If you like 7 Wonder Due is a must buy. Very good extension.

The expansions for 7 Wonders Duel are practically essential for the serious gamers. I cant imagine playing without both expansions at the same time because they allow every game to be exciting and varied. The Pantheon expansion specifically makes it possible to actually win Science and Military victories more often. Must buy!

Now you have even more ways to gain Victory Points!!! It becomes difficult to choose your own strategy because any of them may be better than other. So big variety of strategies does make a game more interesting.

In my opinion, the base game has become more complex with this expansion and I enjoy it. There were more things to keep an eye out for this way (e.g. how the Gods can influence the game). Understanding it was not super difficult but a bit of reading was required. I personally enjoy the base game and this expansion made it just as or maybe even more enjoyable for me.

Very good addition to the base game, adds a range of new strategies to use/things to worry about. I wouldn't recommend buying/playing this with new players until everyone's understanding of the base game is solid, as it adds some complexity which may obscure the original game mechanics/tactics. My only beef is that the production quality wasn't quite the same as our base game, which is a little disappointing, you can tell which wonder cards and science progress tokens are from the expansion from their reverse, (slighter glossier cards and off centre printing on the tokens), a minor irritation for an excellent expansion.

My partner and I have really enjoyed this expansion. I find it adds layers of both strategy and complexity, whilst tying in really well with the main game. It also replaces the guild cards, which were perhaps our least favourite in the main game. If you enjoy the main game then this is a no brainer for me, but conversely if you're not sold on the main game you won't like this either.

This adds so many more levels to Duel. Highly recommend!!!!!

Super jeu, super extension. Cette extension apporte une autre dimension au jeu DUEL qui au bout de 50 parties peut commencer à être un peu prévisible. Je recommande !

Ich spiele 7 Wonders Duel immer mit meinem Freund. Seit langem gewinnt er nur noch 😥 Durch die Erweiterung habe ich auch mal einen Hauch einer Chance. 7 Wonders Duel ist an sich schon ein sehr großartiges Spiel und diese Erweiterung fügt dem ganzen das Göttliche hinzu. Man hat jetzt mehr Auswahl im Spielzug und auch eine bessere Chance durch Forschung oder Militär zu gewinnen (also schön aufpassen). Schade finde ich, dass die Gildenkarten ersetzt werden. Es ist auf jeden Fall eine super Erweiterung und für alle 7 Wonders Duel Spieler.

The original 7 Wonders: Duel is a great game, among my favorite 2-player games. However, after a dozen or so playthroughs the original game becomes a bit repetitive and leaves an experienced player wanting a bit more. The Pantheon Expansion delivers. All of the new mechanics are well-designed and fun to play. The expansion gives the player several new options that add an entirely new dimension of strategy to the game. I've found the expanded game has considerably more staying power than the original, mostly because it's more dynamic and complex, giving an experienced player considerably more to think about. The expansion involves a lot of new rules and significant set-up time, which could be a bit of an obstacle for new players. Also, the addition of new options and powers tends to inure to the benefit of advanced players, causing margins of victory to be larger in the expansion than in the original. But that's also what I think makes the expansion more challenging, rewarding, and fun. I recommend getting acquainted with the original game first, but the expansion is a great improvement. This is one of my favorite games. Very highly recommended.
