Fernco 1056-075 3/4-in. Flexible PVC Pipe Coupling for Plastic and Copper Plumbing Connections in Gray

I called Fernco to ask which coupler would meet my needs for fittings of various sizes. The person I spoke to recommended the Fernco 1056-075. I used two of these couplers to connect my dishwasher discharge hose to my garbage disposal with a check valve in between (see photo). I think the disposal inlet is a 7/8" barbed PVC nipple. Each end of the check valve was 1" OD. I used a 3/4" ID copper pipe to adapt the check valve to the dishwasher discharge hose. The 3/4" ID copper pipe has approximately a 7/8" OD. The Fernco 1056-075 adapted well to all these various sizes. I just screwed the clamps down nice and tight and, no leaks.

Materials used in construction are all high quality. I usually find hose clamps to all be junk. These ones are good, for hose clamps :).

They're as expected.I saw next day delivery and ordered 4. The delivery changed to several days.I needed one sooner so I ordered one and next day worked. Probably due to warehouse packaging procedures. Not a big deal.
