I have pretty thin and weak hair, which tends to get quite shiny as the day goes on. This makes styling it a bit of a problem.But I've been using this hair dust for about 5-10 years now, and that's because it basically nullifies the above. If you give a good few puffs of dust onto the hair and style it, you'll get pretty good hold (nothing that holds back a good wind) and a matte appearance almost immediately. To this end, it's better than gel (shiny appearance) and clay (difficult to style often, and doesn't seem to hold its shape for as long as this dust does).I'm not totally sure about the long term health risk with breathing in the excess dust though...Anyway, worth it. Probably.

I’ve used this consistently for over a year and can’t fault its purpose. It is matt style and doesn’t have a shine to it whilst holding hair in place very well. It does well against some wind and lasts all day and has a nice smell to it. Only a small amount is required so the bottle does go far!Only slight issue is the spray hole does sometimes become covered with the product however it is easy enough to just scrape it off before each use.

By the price it worth, it’s to expensive for how small is the item. The product itself is really good but is not worth it for the price it has as the item small.

Excellent hold that lasts the whole day. Only two little gripes are that it is a little dry, but that goes with the matte look and secondly, the tin usually looses it airlock before the product is finished so I usually throw the last third away - but! - neither stop me ordering a new tin right away!

My partner uses this for styling his hair, he's found it much better than hair gel as it leaves no sticky or shiny residue and you can't tell he has product in his hair from looking at it. Helps him to style it and give his hair more texture which really lasts. He said it can be a bit difficult to wash out, may need to shampoo twice and rinse with hot water but it does come out.I have also tried it myself on my roots to give extra volume which it does. Can make your hair feel a bit dry to the touch where its been applied, but not bad at all.The container is very small but a little really does go a long way, so don't be put off by the size.Great value for money given how only a light dusting of powder does the job!
