Lovely cool wall glasses that work properly. Elegant, stylish and strong. Nice size. A joy to drink from, hold and to look at; as with all cool wall class always safer to hand wash only in my opinion, whatever the instructions say. Will definitely buy more.

Managed to pick these up on sale. I already had some and I wanted some more. Brilliant glasses. Dishwasher safe and good quality. Good for hot and cold drinks. Not heavy or thick but still nice glasses. Good size to fit a decent drink in.

I came across these types of glasses in the Netherlands a few years ago in a restaurant and I was so impressed that I got a single one of these Bodum glasses to try out. Well, it lasted two years before it broke and by that time I'd gotten used to my tea not going cold... so this time I bought six! The size might be hard to tell from an image on the internet. They hold a large mug's worth of tea/coffee/drinkofyourchoice and do a good job of slowing down hot drinks going cold or cold drinks going lukewarm. I often forget time passing behind the keyboard and seriously appreciate the practicality of these glasses! Big quality of life improvement over a regular mug. The only bad thing I'd say is that as scum builds up you're going to see it, unlike a normal ceramic mug. For tea I'm finding I use a wad of steel wool and hardly any pressure (careful not to scratch!) to clean the inside and it only takes a few seconds that way. I mean really, it cleans up in seconds. I wish the glasses could be personalised a bit more too to tell them apart. I've read problems putting these in dishwashers, so honestly I'd say just do them by hand as you don't want fluid getting through the seal on the base. Save yourself any problems by not soaking them either, just do them by hand with steel wool or some sort of pad, like I said it's so easy and fast. If you look after these glasses they should last you a while, but remember that they are glass and they're probably going to break at some point with everyday use. Overall, the everyday practicality outweighs the fragility by a long shot. I'd definitely recommend them. Maybe stick to mugs on occasions you fear breaking one. I also wish for personalisation options, which may come if the manufacturers have any sense. ;)

Absolutely love these glass cups! They look amazing and make my coffee and tea feel a bit fancier. Super durable too! I’ve used them daily and they still look brand new. Perfect for hot or cold drinks. Highly recommend.

These glasses are wonderful for someone who likes to keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. They are equally at ease keeping coffee hot and beer cold. Preheating the mugs with a bit of boiling water for ~30sec helps keep the heat in. I have purchased 8 of these in total and broken one so far. The glass is high quality but thin, and will break from a sharp, percussive hit on certain weak spots, e.g. rim at the top. The upshot is that, unlike cheaper glassware, it did not explode into a million pieces - so cleanup and aftermath were not hazardous. If you take reasonably good care of them, they will last. They claim to be "uncrowded dishwasher safe" but seeing as how most glassware picks up abrasions in the dishwasher over time, I opt to hand wash them. Glass spoons can also scratch the glass so I use a baby spoon for stirring. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the feel of the glass lip is quite nice for purists out there. The glass has no taste or substantial texture, leaving your drink's taste unaltered. It doesn't bother me, but some people might not like the fact that the glasses are not identical; there are small variations from glass to glass, even visible height differences, presumably because these are "mouth blown" (a claim I find dubious as the per-glass price does not seem sufficient for an individually hand crafted piece). In summary, this is my new go-to cup for virtually every beverage.

The look and style of the glasses are very distinct and screams Bodum. I absolutely love the look leading me to buy two sets of these double walled glasses. 1. Packaging The set of glasses came protected in a thick layer of bubble wrap which is absolutely necessary since the walls of the glass are thin. None of the glasses were damaged in any way but they were a little dirty out-of-the-box. That's expected so be sure to give them a wash before using them. 2. Description The glass itself is very thin and light, making them feel fragile. Even though they feel fragile, I have not broken any of them after using them for months. I have stirred metal spoons in the glass and I have made soft clanks on the inner wall on several occasions with no damage in sight. It's unlikely the glass will break with gentle taps or stirs, but I recommend using stir sticks or plastic spoons to stir your liquids if you like to be rough with your glasses. When I store these glasses away, I stack them on top of each other just fine despite being slightly different in size from each other. 3. Usage These glasses are wonderful to use with hot or cold liquids. I pour hot water or coffee into the Bodum glass most of the time, and the glass never gets hot when holding it. There is a slight warmth that you can feel depending on how hot the liquid is, but it's never uncomfortable. In fact, because of how well insulated the liquid is, I can never really tell how hot it is before I take a sip. This is great for the hands but not so great for your lips/tongue. You do have to be careful when you drink your liquid because you will not be able to tell what the temperature really is until you sip/drink it. Beyond being functional, there's a certain amount of "wow" factor when you actually pour other types of liquids in the glass other than water. The liquid is suspended in the air like you're looking at some sort of optical illusion. It's great to look at and definitely draws the attention of other guests. Even more amazing is when you begin mixing liquids together in there. Mixing cream into coffee looks like clouds expanding in chaotic ways - it's really quite enjoyable. 4. Washing When you are washing them by hand, you have to be careful of the items in the sink as they can be damaged by other objects clanking into them. I usually put them in the dishwasher on a normal wash cycle and they come out perfectly clean and undamaged. There is a silicone closing at the bottom of the glass to allow air to move in and out of the insulating wall and I found that no water can get in (which is great!). 5. Conclusion If you want a nice looking set of glasses that performs the job of insulating your liquids extremely well, consider buying these Bodum glasses. They're simple, beautiful, and functional. Liquids seems to magically suspend in the air which gives it a nice optical flare. Just be sure to handle them with care because of its thin glass walls and they will last a lifetime.
