When I first opened up the pack and looked at the cards I wasn't sure about this game, but when my husband and I started playing it was a blast! You play it over 48 days, you each get a card a day, and on each card is a question for each other and a challenge. If you beat the challenge you get to keep the card as a point and whoever has the most points by the time the deck is through, you win! We don't like all the questions and challenges but most of them are fun and interesting. Overall a really fun buy!

My husband and I are only about a week into this game, but we’re obsessed. It’s so much fun. You take turn drawing cards each day, one card per day. At the top, you have a question to ask your partner, which is your typical “couples game” type of question. That’s not the fun part, in my opinion. The fun part is the challenge at the end. This game goes on for something like 48 days with you and your partner going back and forth with dares, challenges and whatever else you happen to find at the bottom of your card of the day, and the player with the highest points at the end is declared the official winner. So far, he’s had to make me a drink with a “secret ingredient” and I’d get a point if I guessed the ingredient. I had to pretend to be a zombie trying to eat his brain and take a point if he laughed. He even wore my underwear for an entire day! Seriously, I couldn’t recommend this game enough. I showed my best friend, and she got incredibly excited about it. It doesn’t seem like it would have particularly high replay value (which is pretty fair considering how long this game lasts), so I intend to give her the deck to play with her husband after we’re done with it. I definitely expect funny stories, and I’m sure she’ll pass it along to another couple afterward!

Maybe this is fun for other couples, but my wife and I didn’t really end up liking this game. The questions were bland and didn’t really lead to a real conversation (as I’m sure they were intended to). The challenges also were weird or quirky so they felt fake and artificial. I’ve included some examples as pictures. These cards imply that you have an intimate relationship (including lots of sexual questions) and yet at the same time seem like they’re meant for people who hardly know each other (I sure hope if I needed “a reassuring hug”, I would have to “cash in” a game card for it). Overall, we stopped using these cards after a few rounds and haven’t used them since. Just a meh product.

We got this game to enjoy as a married couple. The daily multiple choice questions were meant to see how well you know each other. Based on some of the questions, it actually seemed geared more towards dating or engaged couples or maybe newlyweds since some referred to in laws. We are pretty conservative but are married so we were prepared for adult themed questions and challenges. The reason for 4 stars is that we found some parts were fun but other parts were inappropriate or not applicable because we don't drink or go to bars/clubs. Also, some of the challenges would also have involved lying or tricking your spouse which we don't think is good. A lot of the challenges were rather prankish. All in all we enjoyed the game and the chance to focus on each other in a fun way. It was more than during the 2 minutes you played a card each day because to fulfill the challenges you usually had to be thinking about it and them throughout the day.
