Satans Baby Doll [DVD]

Not as good a film as malabimba, maybe shameless will release that as well at some point.

This is an OK movie, really quite funny in places, just don't take it too seriously!

The best bit of this disc was the trailer for a sex and cannibalism movie whose name I can't remember but must look up and order! Lots of nudity, explicit sex, straight and lesbian, and some heart ripping out and munching and much more fun in a couple of minutes than in the entirety of this film. Completely misleading cover as there's no devil anywhere. The triple X reinserts aren't remotely hardcore either so don't get too excited when the screen gets grainy. Okay, the naked beautiful faux-nun fondling herself isn't bad but there's a lot less sex than you'd expect. There isn't much gore either and what there is is pretty feeble. Most of the film is the cast emoting as loudly as they can. You have the nasty patriarch, blubbering servant who wants to save the daughter from being possessed by the soul of the dead (naked) mother in the catacombs -too late, the beautiful faux-nun, the doctor who... Oh never mind. The best bit is a sort of necrophiliac lesbian scene but that doesn't come until -spoiler- the end. And I've probably made it sound better than it is. Dull, glum, and dull. Now what was the title of that opening trailer? Something with 'naked' 'cannibal' and 'queen' in it I think.

Severin DVD I hear the Shameless DVD has some extra footage that the Severin doesnt have, but still isnt the complete X-Rated Cult version. Can anyone chime in on the Shameless DVD anymore? How is the video and audio? Is it comparable to the Severin edition? I would like to get it just for the small amount of extra footage, so long as everything else is the same, if not superior.

OK so this is based on Malabimba a far superior film. This has been given the usual Shameless treatment and has been lovingly restored. Great picture quality and all the usual fab trailers, but the film itself bored me to tears. There were one or two good moments but trust me - if you want to see a tacky possession film full of boobs and bums (and a lot more) then watch the original. This lacks all the charm of the other Shameless releases I've seen. Although it's interesting seeing the grainy footage they put back in from the XXX version. Maybe if the whole film looked that grimey it would add a certain something?

I want to thanks Shameless for enjoying this little-known italian horror.The story and acting is really fun to watch.There's naked ladies, weird characters and strange music.This one is for all of You - Hollywood haters, trash and grind cinema fans.Highly recommended.

It is a remake of the 1979 movie Malabimba. Actress Mariangela Giordano as Sol, the resident nun, who displays the most athletic body in the film. Enjoyable nonsensical slice of classic Eurotrash .

DVD ottimo sia video che audio per gli amanti dell'horror anni 80 e' una pellicola da avere, l'unica pecca potevano mettere direttamente la versione integrale, ovvero quella censurata di scene hard, che in fin dei conti si abbina bene al film, comunque per il resto l'edizione e' ottima io consiglio l'acquisto, poi per quelli che vogliono la versione integrale il dvd c'e' ma costicchia qualcosa in piu

Very good, and has one explicit part ( the oral she did to him), but it has a story, and picture is clear.

Not what was expected, I disappointed.
