ADHD lifesaver
Simple and clear visual timer. It’s so helpful to look up and see the amount of time I have left in a chunk I can see. This might seem like no big deal but time blindness is really common with ADHD and this helps me get out the door on time, or sit through doing my taxes. You can choose to have it sound an alarm or not when time’s up. It also has nice clean design in cute colours. I loved it so much I bought one for my daughter too.

A perfect desk timer, great design quality. So helpful in “seeing my time”.
If you’re comparing multiple desk timers, get this one!!! I struggle with focus and organization due to ADHD, and this has made such a difference. It’s straightforward (in a good way) and very good quality (and comes in a gorgeously designed minimalist all-recyclable packaging - which I’ve kept to use as a “travel case” for the timer). Just turn the dial to your desired time and watch the time slowly slip through your fingers (haha) - it’s genuinely helped me be far more productive and time-aware. There is one simple switch on the back that indicates whether you want the alarm to sound when the time is up or not. Ignore any of the other reviews complaining about this - I’ve found it’s simplicity is useful. When the timer runs out (and if the sound switch is turned on), the alarm doesn’t go off indefinitely — it only only sounds for four pairs of beeps before automatically stopping. (If you want to silence it sooner, you can turn the switch to off and then immediately back to on, for next time.) The alarm’s beep is appropriately loud/piercing in a way that mildly jolts your focus if you’re distracted, but isn’t excessively loud or grating. The point seems to be that it gets your attention in a way that won’t let you miss the timer going off — but this alarm knows it’s not trying to wake someone out of a deep slumber. Overall, this is straightforward, attractive, and well-made. The designers clearly took time to consider what it would be used for, and tailored the functionality to that. Highly recommend.

Simplistic design but highly effective
My son’s Montessori teacher recommended this brand and I can see why! It’s a quality timer that children can set them selves and see the color indicator that there is time left. It was a great visual cue for my son and and enjoyable thing for him to use, instead of it being a punishment. They come in lots of different colors too

Updated Review - Highly Recommended Timer
I bought this timer because I'm time blind and suspect I have ADHD. The few days I used it, I loved it! It was really helpful to see time represented as a dwindling slice of pie. I also love the clean, retro look of the clock. I treated it with such care, but it unfortunately stopped working after only 4 days! How disappointing... I'm in the process of exchanging it for another. Let's hope I just had a defective model. I'll gladly update this review with 5 stars if I can a timer that works and continues to do so. ** UPDATE ** I must have received a dud because the second one has been working like a charm. I’m updating my one star review to a five. I was officially diagnosed as ADHD last month. Timers are essential and this is one of many that I keep all over my house.

Visually Appealing and Seamless Timer
Rating: 8/10 I bought this with the hopes of helping my 2 and 3-year-olds better understand time and be able to set timelines for tasks (such as cleaning up, going to bed, turning off the TV, etc.), especially since my son has slight autistic tendencies. Based on their reactions, they may be a bit young since they aren't able to fully grasp the concept of time yet. Some additional thoughts about this Time Timer are as follows: Positives - Very easy to use and for children to visualize how long 5/10/15/etc. minutes with the bright time remaining background. - The timer is well designed, and there are plenty of colors to choose from. We got the orange one and it looks great! - The inclusion of a button that silences the alarm is nice. I made the mistake of having the sound on the first go around, and now my son is scared of the timer even after I showed him that it can be muted lol. - There is no ticking sound, which for us is fantastic! The only sound it makes is a soft alarm clock beep if you have the timer unmuted. Neutral/other Info - The timer takes one AA battery that is easily accessible to replace. I don't know how long the battery lasts for currently but can't imagine it would get used quickly. Potential Cons - I haven't encountered any drawbacks with the timer at this time, although, it is a bit pricy considering what you're getting. Overall, I would recommend this timer if you have younger kids (maybe a bit older than mine are).

Very useful timer great for those with ADHD, love that’s it’s a very visually appealing timer and it’s size is just perfect for its size.

Yes, I recommend especially for HW struggles.
We bought this timer in hopes that it will serve as concrete visual during homework, which we very much struggled with as it took waaaaaaaay longer than needed. I would set up the timer for an hour and tell my 1st grader the remaining time she has after homework is the time she has left to play (free time). After she got one question done without fuss I demonstrated how quickly she got it done in comparison to how long it would typically take her. I’m not saying homework is always a breeze now but much more manageable than before. So I definitely recommend, at least, for the purpose of homework support, clean up, play, and anything else that should take less time than it actually does. Also let them set it up, which helps with number recognition too. I’m happy with quality, Time setting is simple, It has a loud enough sound but can be turned off, which I love! The display quality also works well.

I was hoping this original Time Timer would last longer than the fake/knockoff timers sold here and on Ali/temu/etc. Unfortunately, this one also failed (discovered this a few months ago, forgot about it's existence and I just found out the warranty period has expired, let's call that "adhd Tax" ). It was used occasionally by an adult, not a scratch on the exterior yet, but apparently the inside is the same poor quality as the knockoffs. Another downside is, the Time Timer has only 1 alarm mode which lasts about 2 seconds (so it can be easily missed if you're in another room or unintentionally ignored when you get distracted or when hyperfocussing on a task, the alarm is just too short and subtle). The knockoffs timers I had before all had multiple alarm durations: 3 or 30 seconds (which could be stopped with a button on top) and I will probably repurchase a Yunbaoit if they still exist. TLDR: there is absolutely no benefit to buying an expensive Time Timer, the quality is just as crappy as the cheaper alternatives and imo it's missing an essential annoying longer alarm setting so you actually are audible reminded that time's up.

It's been improving my QOL so much. I am quite ADHD-ish and hard for me not to get distracted. This has been a lifesaver, and now I can relax a little bit instead of staring at the time for 15 minutes before a meeting just so that I don't get distracted and be late. I thought it was expensive at the beginning, but it was worth every penny.
