Despite being advertised as "used" the listing only mentioned that the packaging was damaged. Sadly the cover had 2 cracked corners and slight damage to a part of the base. A bit of a mix up on my account got me a mains chime instead of battery one because the price was so low. Luckily, I had an old battery Ding Dong and managed to convert the Big Ben to battery using the contacts from the donor. (Had always been run from a transformer). Shame about the cover but superglue fixed it and it's not in my house to see 🤔

Works with Eufy E340 doorbell. It both chimes and charges the battery version of this doorbell as it supplies the minimum 8V. Edit: After initially leaving a five star review, the chime is now emitting an annoying hum/buzz. I don’t know if this is worth persevering with just to charge a smart doorbell so I may need to return it.

Easy to fit with built in transformer.

Used this to replace an older bell and it wasn't too much of a problem to do. Works well, overall I'm pleased I chose this one

I ordered this item to replace an identical-looking doorbell where the batteries had leaked. It is described as btttery-powered, but when I opened it, it contained a mains transformer. The plastic moulding shows how batteries would be inserted but there are no battery contacts. I have returned the item as 'not as described'.

So einen Gong findet man in einem Baumarkt fast nicht. Und wenn doch, dann nur für weit mehr Geld. Der Gongs sieht ganz gut aus, ist nicht größer als andere auch und hört sich gut an. 5 Sterne

Achetée pour remplacer une sonnette Legrand, que j'avais achetée pour remplacer une Friedland similaire à cet achat. La Legrand était trop discrète... Retour au premier modèle, donc. Cette sonnette Friedland Festival 2 (encore appelée Big Ben) sonne plus fort (5 dB en plus, et comme l'échelle des dB est logarithmique...) Installation facile (les câbles 230 V se raccordent au transfo, tandis que les câbles du bouton de sonnette - 8 V - se raccordent aux bornes prévues et bien indiquées).

Dato il nome e l'indicazione di 80dBA, mi attendevo un campanello molto udibile, invece arriva a poco più di 72 un valore decisamente scarso, ma ormai l'ho montato e dovrò accontentarmi. Il montaggio è semplice due fili per la 230V e due fili per il pulsante, non è prevista una luce per il campanello, ma almeno il trasformatore è incorporato e la costruzione è sufficiente anche se per 42€ mi aspettavo un prodotto di gran lunga migliore.
