Spanner missing
Like other reviewers have said.. the spanner is missing. Not a big problem for me as I have a 10mm spanner so can swap the heads.Riviter is really sturdy and good to use. Dropped a star purely because spanner was missing.

Not sure
I gave five stars although I'm not entirely convinced but it was £14 cheaper than Screwfix it's the second one I've had so I've only myself to blame if goes curly

No good for 4.8 mm rivets
I agree with the other reviewers that this feels like a very well made and quality tool. However, I've been using it for aluminium 4.8 mm rivets and the handles just are not long enough, making them incredibly hard to use. I am by no means an expert on riveters, but the previous hand held ones I have used in the past require 4-5 pumps of the handles before the rivet pops off. These are around the 1-2 pumps, and have had me and a work colleague putting our entire body weight behind the handle to get the rivet to pop off. After a day of this the rivet tool gave up the ghost and stopped gripping the rivets. Promptly returned to amazon for a refund. If you're planning of using 4.8 mm rivets, I'd think again as this size is right on the design limit for this riveter.

OK for thicker rivet stems
Fed up with my old riveter failing to release the rivet stem so bought this. Not sure if it's much better than the old one to be truthful. It may release thicker stem rivets ok, but doesn't like the thinner ones at all.

Well designed and sturdy.
I had never used pop rivets before buying this rivet gun for £25 on Amazon.I bought it specifically to replace some buckled metal fence panel brackets fitted to square box-section metal fence posts. I drilled out the existing rivets with a 5mm drill bit and then refitted the new bracket using 5mm rivets from Screwfix. Needed both hands to compress the handles to fix the rivet until it 'popped' but smaller sized rivets would be much easier. The popped rivet shaft was easy to remove from the gun once the rivet had been set, and the resultant fix was solid .Excellent design and with the scope to use 4 different sized rivets. The same rivet gun would have cost £33 at Screwfix.I would definitely recommend this rivet gun is easy to use, design and sturdiness at the price I paid.

Great Rivet Tool
At last a robust value for money rivet tool. Used it to fit 20 5mm rivets - worked just great, no jamming or other issues.
