After researching The comedogenic scale and the highest values of beneficial ingredients, this is the excellent choice without a doubt. [skin type - oily, acne prone]Most oil cleansers/balms on the market contain comedogenic oils, that unfortunately make me break out no matter how well I wash with foaming cleanser afterwards.I decided to try cleansing with safflower oil alone after reading about its benefits for oily and acne prone skin (mainly the high Lineolic acid content, which our oily skin needs. And the low Oleic acid content, which can cause problems for us).This stuff gets the job done just as well as any other oil cleanser/balm I've tried. It removes my makeup and sunscreen quickly and easily and keeps my pores nice and clear. I do follow up with a foaming cleanser when I'm done, and it rinses away easily.My main concern when I bought this was that I would go through the bottle too fast, but I purchased this months ago and it still isn't empty. So it has proven to be far more cost effective than using a branded oil cleansing formulation.I also haven't had any issues with the bottle becoming oily or messy. I store it in my medicine cabinet where it is dark and cool.Most importantly - no breakouts 😎 highly reccomend.

This is the second bottle I bought. First one last me more than a year. I like to use safflower oil to remove my makeup. It’s non comedogenic, not clogging your pores. Also use as body oil and apply on cuticles. Works great.

I completely stopped using soap on my face, and wash my face with this oil instead. I used to get acne all the time, now I only get hormonal zits a couple of days before my period. Bonus my skin is softer and my fine lines are less noticeable! I bought some for my mom and sister also. Why did it take me 33 years to do this???
