Very very good stuff. I’ve known about ‘Whey Protein’ & this brand of the stuff for years I just didn’t know that it repaired muscle otherwise I’d have been drinking this stuff for years now & probably would have toned myself in that time, now that’s not toned as in Stallone just as in sufficient muscle. It mixes up well giving the powder & milk (in my case) a blitz with a hand mixer then popping it into a bottle with a circular ball shaped spring inside (pictured & purchased from Amazon) for when it settles in that drinking container. Sometimes it can leave a little bit of a sickly feel on your stomach when you drink it & that I found out was too much powder for the milk/water ratio. I It always helps me with prolonged work situations like cutting the large back garden grass down & for other things around the home like that, I’ve also noticed a little muscle build & less aching on my hamstrings so all’s good really I can definitely feel & see a difference from as previously mentioned more muscle on my lower legs to less aching at the end of the day, I get the strawberry flavour which is very nice just to mention.

Definitely the best Protein Powder I've ever tried. Mixes really easily with no lumps and if you mix the strawberry flavour with skim milk, it tastes EXACTLY like Strawberry Nesquik. It's pretty rare to have a protein powder that actually tastes nice. One thing I've seen in other reviews is that, yes, the tub does only come about 2/3rds filled, but I weighed mine when it arrived and you are getting the advertised amount. While the description says this is because of the way it settles during transport and from vacuum sealing....well, let's face it, if there's a big tub and a small tub and they're both the same price, most people will pick the bigger one even if the advertised amount is the same. It is a bit wasteful in packaging...but you are getting what you paid for. As for performance? Well, it's protein powder. It won't magically grow muscle, but is a definite help to get enough protein in your diet for when you hit the gym. I would definitely recommend mixing with skim milk rather than water as it's a little extra protein and calcium and takes it from "Tastes okay" to "This is just a strawberry milkshake"... but I would recommend it as a post-workout rather than pre, unless you're going to drink it an hour or two before you start working out....because a large milkshake right before an intense workout probably isn't going to feel great.

The vanilla has been great & the cookies & cream was pretty good but the strawberry is amazing! Really tasty & makes a great shake. Protien seems good in terms of benefits as well.

About three weeks ago I purchased the strawberry flavour of this protein supplement and I have been very pleased with the product so far. This was my first ever protein supplement I have ever bought, and after three weeks I have noticed a large difference in my workouts. I had originally been going to the gym for a year, without supplements, without specified diet plans. I finally came to my senses and decided that workouts alone were not enough, as I was finding difficulty in progressing through weights in the gym. After using this product and just having one scoop a day after each workout, I have noticed that my muscle pain the next day has been greatly reduced, and I feel much more 'restored' in my following workouts. I have also progressed up in weight within this time quite easily, and it was a surprise to me that the heavier weights actually felt fine and not too much of a push at all. I had always been skeptical about whether or not protein supplements really worked, or whether they are just a scam for money. However, I have been pleasantly surprised that they do work nicely. The strawberry flavour tastes great after the first day. The first one I had tasted cringing, but all the shakes I've had since taste good and you get used to it. Drinking it with milk improves taste hugely, but I believe milk should be used for slow digestion as opposed to water for quick entry into the blood stream. The price is quite good for this product too, Maximuscle do their protein shake at around £27+ whereas this product is £23-£27 at the time of writing this review. Although I also believe Maximuscle have more supplements added to their shake, whereas this product is a more 'simplified' supplement. The only cons I would have with the product is the differing prices between different flavours (Choc being ~£23 and Strawberry being ~£25). The tub is also only about half full when you open it, and so you are given the illusion that you're getting a lot of powder, but you actually don't notice until you open it that a lot of the tub is just empty space. So far the product has been fantastic, but I shall have to try some different supplement brands in the future.
