Gro-Sure Aqua Gel Coated Smart Grass Lawn Seed, 25 m2, 1 kg

It is really great grass seed, takes a little time to germinate but when it does WOW. See the photo below.

Grass seed germinates well and has a high success rate. The grass is resilient and thick enough to withstand pet activity. Lovely thick green appearance. Easy to use, would recommend.

Needed to re-seed the whole lawn, which was done in sections so that I could water it without walking on the new growing areas. The old lawn had drainage and a soak away installed then the remaining area was rotavated. Once lever the grass seed was spread and lightly raked in and patted down. Watered it lightly every evening and within 4 days shoots were popping up. Once established thinly covered patches had addition seed applied which started growing in 4 days. Now I’ve gone the whole lawn (200msq) using the same rotavate, level, seed, pat down and water daily method and in every instance grass is growing within 4 days. Well impressed with the outcome and much much cheaper than turf. Which would need similar steps but instant lawn. Would I do the same again? Certainly.

Having read the recent reviews (always sort reviews by most recent, not top reviews) I am concerned that these are fake. They are just grass seed, they are not contained in a gel ball. Some seeds at the bottom of the box were white but not the blue gel that people reported previously. I will report back. In the meantime I recommend that people avoid this product. FOLLOW UP: 3-4 weeks later. There is some growth from some of the the seeds. I definitely do not think there is anything special about these so I think maybe it's a fake or faulty product. There didn't seem to be any gel that would improve the growing. They looked like standard grass seeds and they are growing quite slowly. Do not buy.

Used this as a base seed before turfing my lawn, it produced a thick and luscious lawn, very easy to use, just spread the seed around and cover with top soil or turf and it creates a wonderful green lawn
