It's fabulous! The toy was super-fast delivered (in fact it arrived 2 days earlier than expected) just on my baby's 3-month "birthday" - she aboslutely loved it and grasped it easily no sooner we gave it to her. It was about a week or two before that our baby started to grasp on anything that would come close to her hands and try putting it into her mouth, and so when I saw Sophie la Giraffe on amazon (I had not known the toy before) I thought it could be a very good idea to get it for her - and so it proved to be: Sophie is just perfect for a small baby's hand exercises - the long neck and legs can be easily grasped even by a tiny hand and the many curves and protruding cheeks, nose and ears fit perfect into a baby's mouth (our baby especially loves sucking on Sophie's nose). I think it also stimulates pretty well the developement of hand control- after a couple of days out little was easily passing the toy from one hand to the other, turning it around etc. The quality of the toy is really good and considering how it is made it is really good value. The material is very soft and very nice in touch, is very elastic and looks durable, and the very delicate smell is of natural rubber. Do keep in mind that the toy is made in France and not in one of the many low-cost factories in China as most of the toys nowdays and part of the production is completed manually (each giraffe is finished: polished and painted individually by hand), and so though the price might seem a bit high for a rubber toy, it still offers a great price-quality relation in my opinion. I hope it will work well as well as a teething toy when the time comes! Sophie is so nice, I really would not want to change it for another one!

Great quality and fast delivery

Larger than expected, and it also squeaks - which i wasn't expecting. Nice little touch, although the dog is now also taking a keen interest in it! Extreemly lightweight, so she is able to move it how she wishes, apparently the legs are the best place to chomp! Great go to teether! Came with certificate of authenticity, lovely little touch. My little girl is 14 months and obsessed with giraffes - so she is over the moon with it!

Sophie is the cutest teether ive seen. My nephew had one 12 years ago, my son got one 3 years ago and i bought this one for a friends baby. She has so many different shapes to bite on, and is the perfect size for baby to easily hold. she is made of a softer rubber than she looks like! Bargain price as shes very durable - Thoroughly recommend

Baby loves this teether but should be a way to cover whistle when cleaning.

I got Sophie for my son when he was 3 months old. He did use the teether for a while but lost interest. As soon as he hit 4 month, I think he remembered the toy and was reaching for it, and now it’s his favorite thing to chew on! It’s quite easy to hold. Whichever way you hold it, there’s something to chew on so the size is great. It is expensive, I will say that, but if you think it’ll work for your little one, the price is worth it.

The cutest little teething toy for my friends baby.

This was my daughter’s favorite teething toy 15 years ago. Her grandmother bought it in France and gifted it to her when she was a baby. She used it until it lost all its color. I’m telling you she loooved her Sophie!! Recently bought one at Target for my 6 month old and it’s a hit!! It’s soft not too heavy and it has kept both my babies entertained for long periods of time. It’s a bit pricey but worth it as you will not need any other toy. It provides relief for teething babies and it’s a great fashion accessory for any outfit. :)

Sophie é un regalo con cui non si sbaglia mai, l’idea é geniale perché abbina la giraffa ad un caucciù da mordicchiare, risulta molto rilassante per dare sollievo ai piccoli all’uscita dei primi dentini, essendo in caucciù naturale non ha odori sgradevoli e si può comodamente lavare quante volte si vuole, basta coprire la valvolina o evitare che entri acqua durante il lavaggio, non perde colore ed é proprio morbidosa...che altro aggiungere?provatela e non ve ne pentirete! La consiglio molto anche come regalo nascita originale e d’effetto che sarà sicuramente apprezzato dai genitori e soprattutto dai piccolini!
