Hard at work and doing a fine job, smashes that cheap dodgy yellow thing I was using... Easy calibration with just ph7 buffer, but the well written instruction booklet say's it can also be calibrated using ph4 buffer or ph10 buffer, you'll need to purchase ph buffer as this meter only come's with a small sachet of liquid ph7 buffer for one time calibration before first use, you'll also need some ph storage solution and some ph cleaning solution, look after it and it'll serve you well...

There's a lot of nonsense surrounding these devices on forums. These are not the best or most accurate PH (or EC) meters. However, unless you're using a meter every day and need accuracy to the decimal point (which you don't - trust me) - these will be fine. The problem with more expensive meters (such as those from Bluelab) is that they need calibrating, cleaning and storing regularly to be accurate and won't take much of a beating (I've gone through 3 Bluelab PH pens in the time that an Essentials pen lasted me). These will need calibrating etc too but you can be less precious with them and they will still get the job done just fine.

Does what its supposed to do. Shame it's not got a backlight for the LED display, like the cheaper Chinese versions. But its accurate & calibration is simple!

After ordering one of those cheap yellow p.h testers and it breaking after 2 weeks i ordered one of these. Would recommend spending the extra money and getting one of these. Very accurate, Very easy to use and reliable. Very happy customer.

Was stuck on it's original calibration of pH 7. Recalibrated with a pH 4 liquid, to see it go back to 7. Finally gave up altogether and just showed flashing dots. I requested a refund, which I received and the manufacturers did not want the meter back, as it would only go in their bin. I still need a good meter, so I have to start from scratch.

Excellent price for a meter which initially worked well. I used this constantly for a month or so and every time I used the calibration fluid to test it before use it would be spot on. Unfortunately after a month or so of not using it the reading was way out and I still have problems trying to keep it calibrated. Pretty much every time I use calibration fluid now (even tried a new unopened bottle of solution too) it just won't achieve the correct reading so I'm pretty disappointed. I've given 3 stars because initially the meter was excellent, unfortunately it just didn't last.

Funktioniert wie er soll, einmal eichen und gut! Selbst nach Wochen wenn mann die Eichung überpfüft immernoch exakt da wo sie sei soll!

Ok correcto pero hay que calibrar antes de utilizar

I bought as advertised, a PH meter. They sent me a EC meter. At least a EC meter was next on my list I didn’t mind. Just had to go buy a PH meter.
