Envii Pond Klear - Natural Green Pond Water Treatment, Clears Green and Murky Water for Crystal Clear Healthy Water, Safe for all Fish and Wildlife -1L Treats 40,000 Litres

After disturbing my pond, and replacing the pump, the water was terribly murky. I was cleaning the pond filter almost daily but the water remained murky. In desperation I tried this product and waited for results. I waited for a week, no improvement. I added another dose and waited. Then the water started to clear! I added a third dose and, lo and behold, the water really started to improve. After three to four weeks the water is now crystal clear and I can see the bottom of the pool, the fish, and all the oxygenating plants. I propose to keep adding a maintenance dose on a weekly basis. This is definitely “the best thing since sliced bread” and I recommend it.

Easy to use and find that it does help reduce algie and green build up in a small pond

It takes time to see results with this product. The scenario which we faced was a 200 litre water feature in which my wife had placed two goldfish, pebbles and some plants from our natural pond. Very soon the water and pebbles were totally green and drastic action was needed. We had a smalll solar pump and filter which was not up to the job and therefore we have installed a budget mains powered combined filter and pump; this aerates the water very well and filters it too. So how has this product performed? Not too well at first and I believe that this was due to the pump and filtration system, which whilst solar powered, had an additional battery powered option, which we used to ensure 8 hours of filtering a day. We persevered and purchased a better pump and whilst this had a UV lamp which is constantly on, the combination of the two is addressing the problem. The method which we use to treat our pond is to remove about 8-10 litres of water from the pond, dose it with 25ml of the agent, stir it well and then leave it to develop for 24 hours before introducing it to the main pond whilst the pump and filter is switched off - we leave it for 12 hours and then switch the pump back on - the UV lamp will kill the bacteria created by the concentrate, but we believe that it multiplies sufficiently to remove the algae in sufficient numbers to survive the UV light for an extended period of time.. So why 4 stars? Well this is an intermediate report, however, I think that whilst this product has contributed, so has the new pump, plus I get really irritated when suppliers contact me asking me to review their products too soon, not once, but twice, particularly as from their own instructions they suggest that you may not see results for weeks. +++UPDATE+++ A month later and 5 doses of the product the water in the water feature is clear and the large cobble pebbles are losing the algae at a rapid rate. I intend to continue dosing the water feature through the winter, probably once a fortnight initially as the water feature is in a shaded area and will not have any direct sunlight at all until the spring, plus I believe that the low water temperature will not promote algae to grow either. If I am wrong I will increase the dose - suffice to say the water is now clear - a combination of pump and this bacterial agent. In essence, I believe that this product, combined with a better pump and filter; which I clean each week has aided our relatively small pond to rid itself of algae. I now have to buy netting as the clear water has already ensured that the heron has been spotted in our garden and whilst the water feature is very close to our house, I have no doubt that in the spring, the heron will pay a fleeting visit - in every silver lining lurks a cloud. I will re-review this item in a couple of weeks to see if my small water features water condition has improved still further - certainly the debris being removed from our filter suggests that it will and that this product is contributing.

You might have better luck, but tried it in a bird bath with way higher concentration than it needs. Absolutely no effect, still loads of Algae. Seems to be reflected in other reviews.

I purchased this product August 2024. If you are looking for a quick fix this isn’t it, however, if you’re patient and willing to wait then I don’t think you’ll find a better product than this one. At first it took about 2/3 weeks and water went from a pea soup green to a significant improvement, from then on it gradually got better and better. Over winter it continued to work and by spring this year I can see all my oxygenating plants which seemed to have thrived to the extent I’m going to have to clear some out! A friend who knows a lot about pond keeping was so impressed at the clarity of my wildlife pond water he is going to order some of this product. It also seems to have held keep the blanket weed at bay! I am really very impressed with this and I hardly leave many reviews only to warn others about really bad products or to give a excellent review whenImthinkmit has deserved it and this certainly does, but please be patient with it and I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Was really pleased with the results. After 2 days I could see the chippings at the bottom of the pond.

Ayant un bassin de 12 m3 relativement jeune car créé pendant le confinement, empoisonné de 4 poissons rouges voile, de 6 carpes koï de moyennes et petites tailles ainsi q’une plantation relativement jeune. Malgré une attention particulière à sa mise en route, les tests de qualité de l’eau de celui-ci était bons mais son biotope n’étant pas optimal, la forte luminosité du mois de Juin et les hautes températures ont permis de développer une quantité importante d’algues vertes qui se propageait trop vite à mon goût. Après plusieurs renseignements et recherches, ayant fait le tour des produits et tarifs plus ou moins attrayants et au regard des différents avis du produit pour bassins “Pond Klear” de envii, je me suis tourné vers celui-ci. Et bien, j’en suis très satisfait car il a fait le job !!!... Bon OK ce n’est pas un produit miracle qui va résoudre le problème du jour au lendemain mais nous sommes fixés sur le sujet par un mail explicatif (en français) sur le produit ainsi que la mise en œuvre de celui-ci après l’achat et ça c’est vraiment top de leur part ... 👍 En suivant leurs conseils à la lettre de ce mail, après 3 jours le résultat commençait à se voir, les algues se détachants de leurs supports ( bâche, paniers de plantations, plantes...) elles étaient retirées à l’épuisette de la surface Plusieurs fois par jour et l’achat d’un skimmer à suivre à fortement aider le nettoyage de la surface du bassin et au bout d’une dizaine de jours quasiment plus d’algues hormis quelques résidus remontant de ci de là !!!... Je suis donc très satisfait et du produit en lui-même par son efficacité et son aspect naturel ( bactéries biologiques) ainsi que par le suivi de l’équipe de la marque envii !!! Et à la vue des différents produits de leur marque, que je vais certainement essayé dans l’aspect curatif et préventif sur la durée avec l’évolution de mon bassin et si ceux-ci font aussi leur preuve, envii pourra me compter parmi ses clients fidèles en leur souhaitant une belle évolution.
