Pads were very good at removing Alge build up on my one piece Plastic pond insert liner. I have to clean liner twice a year and these pads made the job so much faster and removed the Alge build up with very little scrubbing. Would suggest you test a surface area first! pads are very aggressive. Going to do some outside touch-up painting on house and pads will be used for prep work. They hold together very well and do not break down like the store bought ones.
