Kilner Ravenhead 0.5 Litre Preserve Jar, Sleeve of 3

The 3 jars arrived quickly, packaged well and in excellent condition. They have a two-piece lid which is airtight. 'Kilner' is written in the lid and the jar itself. They are very versatile; I've used mine in my instant pot pressure cooker to make gorgeous creamy dulce de leche & also yoghurt. They are traditionally used for preserving jams etc. but can also be used for crafts or to give as gifts as they are very nice looking jars. They also come with 3 labels that can be used to stick on the jars if you so wish.

Not bought for preserves but for storing spare peppercorns and curry powder. I was a bit surprised by the double lids, inner lid and outer screw on lid though all part and parcel for air tightness. Good looking jars, embossed with the Kilner name and having gold lids, a nice size too. Pleased with the price of them, got them cheaper than now advertised. All in all - one happy bunny! Recommended.

Good for preserving food! Neat and tidy

Kilner are the best 'Preserving Jars for Jams, Pickles and Chutney's, they come with 'Scew' lids with a center lid that can be re-used up to 5 times, to purchase new ones they are sold in packs of 10 at a cost of £4.50 depending on where you procure them , we have been using Kilner Jars for years and have never had a problem with the preserve in them they keep very good;We were very impressed at at service we got from the seller 'Rayware' the jars were very well packed and the delivery was next day, much better than trying to find them on the High Street, we would recommend 'Rayware' to any-one their service is great

I LOVE these!!!i prépare my breakfast in these. I do my breakfast jars the night before and do soaked oat with chia seeds, yogurt and milk and add a bit of cinnamon for the sweet taste! These wash amazing!!!the only thing I would say would be that they way too big for my breakfast so should have got the smaller size!

Used for preserving the large crop of apples and plums the perfect growing weather this year has produced. Far too many to use without preserving which I've been doing for over 50 years. but most of my preserving jars were much larger and now the family is much smaller I needed smaller Kilner jars.

The Jars themselves are great but the lid is really weird as it is in two parts the middle circle is detached so the lid is not one thing which was annoying to get used to but they are a very cute product.

I bought the onions at a farmers market and judged there would be enough for 3 jars. Perfect!
