is this good for 4c hair?

Yes! Great for 4c especially in the summer in a humid area. I would think of this product as an amazing hydrating curl defining gel with no visible residue...what’s great is that all you need is just this product to rake through your hair to define your curls and spritz your hair each day with water to keep it fresh....I would not actually use this product to twist or braid hair ironically enough as it would settle sticky...it’s best as a wash and go defining afro textured hair out product

is this a good product to use if im going natural and want to make my hair curly?

I have not used As I Am Twist products and the way people describe it not working miracles (I wouldn't want to use it). I have used the 100% Argan Cold Pressed Oil and it really made a difference to the texture of my hair, making it shiny, manageable, moisturized, soft, and had movement too! This is the first product I started using in my quest for natural curls. I did not know that my hair could look so good, including a nice curly texture until I used 100% Argan oil. After using this I would twist my hair and then wrap my hair around itself (making tight coils) to set overnight. This actually did define the curls (I did not know I had because I was so used to perming from childhood to adult). I ventured a little further in my search for even more defined natural curls. SheaMoisture products does it all but, do not stop using the Argan oil (Voile Vu). This is a little expensive but it works. And YES it does give you curls that are defined and move. ALL OF THESE PRODUCTS ARE SOLD BY AMAZON. So get some today. I am not an employee of Amazon, but a customer who does a lot of shopping on their site.

Does this product work on loc's?

I wouldn't recommend this on locs might cause build up depending on the hair type

Is this product good for hair that is low porosity?

Yes this product works great with all hair types.

Great cream

Strength! Well it has not strengthening properties that I am aware of. It is however a great twisting cream, loved using it and it defined my hairstyle.

Gave very defined twist out for 4c hair

Good product! I wasn't expecting much based on its consistency. I used it on damp hair for my twist out and it came off very defined. No white residue. It also smells very nice. Just wish there was more product for the price.

Great product

Has a nice but not overpowering smell and makes my hair look and feel great. Don't have much to compare it to but seems expensive for such a small pot (which doesn't even come full) -hence 4 stars. Prompt delivery (prime). Thank you seller.

Fantastic !!

Didn't work on my 4c hair

I bought this cream after seeing all of the positive feedbacks. However I'm so sad that this product didn't work for me. I used it once on freshly washed hair but I never had so much struggle to detangle my hair. Neither my hands were slipping nor my comb. And when my hair dried some small white residues came out of my head. I had to wash my hair again...

First time using it

I ordered this by mistake, meant to buy the Double butter. Seems a bit wet, used to tidy my son’s locs. Seemed to hold ok once dried. Smell is good. I’ll wait to see if there are any flakes and how well it holds. But I’ll definitely buy the Double butter again, as that’s what I’m used to.

Not for oily hair.

Nice smell, nice texture, but not for my wavy, oily hair. I really liked it though, so would recommend it for dry / normal hair.
