These are great little speakers for the price!! Yes, you can get better but they will cost more! I've used these for 4 different applications:1 For phone speakers, using the mains USB charger port for power. 2 The same but using the USB car charger for power (camping trip). 3 As PC speakers, and 4 As alternative speakers for my TV whist gaming... using the TV's headphone socket and USB file port on the TV as power.The first 3 applications they excelled in! no argument, great improvement over baseline (pun intended).On the TV side of things, there was a definite improvement with my TV (LG full HD, 2 years old) as most -even modern- TV's don't have the best sound quality, or it deteriorates over time, and it's unfortunate that most TV's don't have a very good array of "sound out" options. My house mate has just bought a New Sony Bravia, which held it's own against the speaker sound quality... But the speakers bass was still far better than the Sony TV's bass.At the end of the day these are less than 25 pounds, and you can get some very poor speakers for that money! I'm glad I picked these!!

I was torn between giving this product 3 or 4 stars. The speakers are cute little 3" cubes, the subwoofer is around 6"x6"x5", so they fit very easily on even the smallest of desks (which mine is!). They look okay too and the sound is reasonably clear without being great (I usually listen to music on a dedicated amp and speakers with crystal clarity - these are very muffled in comparison, but for the price they're acceptable and for Spotify on a PC they will do). However, the bass is weedy at best, the subwoofer isn't really big enough to produce anything like the level of bass I am used to - in fact, even with the bass turned up full and the speakers on a relatively loud setting, the sound is no more bass-y than you would expect from most speakers without a subwoofer. Within the constraints necessitated by the price and size, I would say approach with caution and be aware of what you will be getting, but if you're on a budget, don't dismiss them as an option.

I was looking for some small speakers to fit on my desk and not take up too much space. I took a risk as normally I go for products with a lot of reviews but when purchased, these only had 5. The sound quality is great but when I use the speakers on medium sound level, I get a lot of static so I use the follow config:Speakers sound - MAXComputer setting sound - LOWI managed to lose the static by using this setting. One thing I can't seem to fix is the 'pop' when turning off the power supply to my computer...I've turned off the sound and bass knob but the pop still occurs..If somebody could help me with this, I would be very grateful:)UPDATE: After plugging usb lead into a charger plug, the static sound has gone. Thank you to the helpful commenter! 5*

It sounds very good when plugged in to my laptop but rubbish when connected to my tv as there is a constant static buzzing. A shame as I mainly wanted to use these as tv speakers.

Perfect for the price range, the main base unit doesn't look as nice as the smaller speakers. Remember this is USB powered so on most desktops you should use the Rear USB ports and not the ones at the front. But overall a good product that does the job well. The users complaining about static sound coming from the speakers need to make sure they don't plug too many USB powered devices, you can test by only having the speakers plugged in and there won't be any static.

Not sure why these have good reviews. Sound quality is pretty bad. They work ok I guess but if you're listening to music with any bass in it these speakers are terrible, pretty quiet in general too. I've bought Logitech speakers a few times that have been a similar design to these and I really wish I stuck with them because they've been so much better. Not even sure what to do with these now because I don't want to listen to anything on them.

When I got the product, it is the same as what it looks like in the picture. It looks very cool and of good quality (doesn't look cheap or anything like that). The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't have an On/Off power button (so it makes that 'popping' sound whenever you turn on/off from whatever gadgets you connect it to) and that when you connect the USB port to a laptop, it makes 'static' sound but when you connect it to an adapter, the sound disappears. The bass and sound quality is quite decent, enough for watching movies or videos in a room but not for partying and bigger crowd.

The media could not be loaded.
