Excellent quality at a reasonable price. Very pleased. Easy to set up and use and very compact. Can be connected to the internet to update the player software or this can be done using a USB stick. Plays a good number of different disc formats. Quite impressed.

Overall the DVD player works extremely well and plays my films in very good quality on my HD TV. The player is very easy to set up, simply plug in to the power supply and connect a hdmi lead (not included) to the TV. Importantly the next step you should complete is to set it up properly on the menu BEFORE inserting a disc into the player. If you haven't gone through the setup menus and chosen the correct options for your type of TV and sound system then you are likely to find the output disappointing. The picture quality playing my dvd's is the best I've ever seen, clearly the up-scaling technology works very well. The player itself is small, looks good and I like the inclusion of a light to show it's turned on (I'm aware this is a feature increasingly missing on dvd players). Based on everything I've said I'm sure you're wondering why I haven't given it 5 stars. Well that's for two main reasons. Firstly the controller, whilst it has all the buttons you'd want and is small, I do find the buttons themselves to be of poorer quality than the other controllers I own. You shouldn't have to use it too often though so this isn't a huge problem. The second issue I'd note is the price of the item. Whilst some reviewers think this is cheap I can't help but feel that it's more expensive than it needs to be, especially considering that for only £15 more you can get a Sony blu-ray DVD player with SMART functions.

The product is well made, easy to use, good value for money and produces a good picture.

I use this player as a cd player connected up to my Sony amp, sounds fantastic and does the job at a fraction of the cost.

excellent quailty and great picture for 1080p screen. happy with ease of use and glad i can play all of my cheap blurays

Good blue ray player

Great for home audio systems - I was able to connect RCA cables into the back and hook up to my amp. If you are planning to use it in this fraction I would just recommend that you hook it up to a computer screen or TV for an initial set up as there are a few options that you want to adjust in the settings for this purpose instead of audio settings focused on playing movies. A great value way to at CD playing capability to your audio set up
