The seat is sturdy and comfortable and the arms raise as described in the specification. It was easy to assemble with the Allen key which came with the screws.

I bought this chair to replace an expensive, albeit worn-out, office chair. Having sat for a while in great discomfort on this old chair, I became slightly paranoid about finding the 'perfect' chair. Unfortunately I was unable to find a local outlet to test chairs (Amazon cause/effect!) so was finally forced to bite the bullet and buy online. I was guided by previous reviews, where this chair comes consistently top of the rankings. And with good cause. Admittedly I have used this chair for less than a week, but it is one of the most comfortable office chairs I have ever used, and I have high hopes that it will be durable. Construction seems solid, and it was easy to put together on my own. The key is to leave all the screws loose, and only tighten once all is in place - holes lined up perfectly. Even the heavy back was easy to put on, once I read the instructions properly, and laid it flat, starting with the upper of the two screws. It took me less than half an hour to assemble, even allowing for my cursory reading of the instructions and reversing a couple of errors / arms on backwards etc. As previous reviewers have said, it is a large chair. I chose it specifically because I am long in the upper leg, so wanted a deep seat, which it has. It has a large/wide seat and consequently the arms are fairly widely spaced. This is fine for me, but I imagine a more petite person might find it too wide - check your needs and measurements. In my usual upright working position, my back does not rest against the chair back, although sitting back the chair supports my back nicely. I have added a lumbar support cushion which makes it damn near perfect fit when sitting forward at the desk. I guess you could argue that the 'perfect' chair wouldn't need any additional cushions - I think this is simply tailoring it to my particular preferred posture. The arms rotate upwards, so they are either in the 'in use' position, or tucked up alongside the seat back, enabling the chair to be tucked under the desk. In the 'down' position there is no problem getting close to the desk - you'd have to be pretty tiny and sitting right back on the seat for there to be any conflict there. In which case your legs would probably be sticking straight out anyway! I had thought the arms were 'adjustable' into various positions - this is not the case. The tilt mechanism is just that - the whole seat + back tilt backwards, with a knob to control the resistance. It is not possible to alter the angle of the back independently, nor to lock in the tilted position. There is a control to prevent the tilt, or to release it - two options. The only downside i've found so far is that the wheels are fairly free, meaning I'm slightly fearful it will wheel away from me whilst I'm in the process of sitting down. Hanging onto the arms solves that. On the plus side, it's going to be a winner in office chair races! Delivery was prompt and problem free. I debated between 4 and 5 stars, but really the price swung it. Whilst there might be more perfect chairs out there, I doubt any of them come in for under £90. Would I have paid £160 (listed) price for it? I would probably still be out there reading reviews!

This chair is so easy to put together, the instructions are very clear. It only took about 20 minutes to complete, not bad for an old lady. Chair is lovely and comfortable just what I needed. Would highly recommend.

I’ve only had this a few hours but my initial thoughts are that this is a fairly good chair. It is certainly up to taking the larger individual and is comfortable enough although I have not yet had an 8+ hour sitting to see how it feels for a long time. It is fairly easy to put together but a second pair of hands are a great help when it comes to putting the back rest on (assuming you follow the rather straightforward instructions). Unless you are particularly long in the upper leg you may find (as I have) that you need a cushion behind your back to get adequate lumber support. I have also deducted a star as the quality control seems a bit hit and miss. On my chair all the holes lined up fine but there are multiple chips and imperfections that I would expect to see on a factory second not one sold for almost £100. I have attached a photo of one area on the end of the arm rest where you may rest your fingers, there are others but I only seem to be able to attach the 1 photo. This may seem like a minor quibble as it is only aesthetic and doesn’t affect the use of the chair but I thought it worth mentioning as this is not a cheap item. Update I've had this chair for 9 months and it's still in one piece but I have reduced the rating to 3 stars as I have had to supplement the chair seat padding with a foam cushion as it has become uncomfortable to use for long periods of time. I don't know if this is because it wasn't designed with being used for hours on end every day or becasue the foam doesn't recover as much as when it was new.

The chair came packaged well with not too many bits and pieces. All screws etc were in a labelled plastic/cardboard bubble pack so very easy to identify and count. The chair assembly was overall easy. The most complex part was attaching the arms, and then the back of the seat to the arms but as a solo person I was able to manage it. Very important to not fully tighten the screws in the arms during this process and keeping the back flat rested on the seat while you attach the top screw loose enough to flip the back up once done to then attach the other screws. It's a bit fiddly but achievable. The chair feels very solid and is a good height at it's lowest. I have quite short legs and i can sit with my feet flat on the floor. I am also on the heavier side and it feels very capable of handling my weight, I am 140kg. the cushion is not over soft nor hard. I find it very comfortable being able to flip the arms is very nice and i find for my larger frame the arm rests are in a perfect spot and very nicely padded. The back is also nicely padded and my head.neck fits nicely against the top of the back if i lean back. I am 175cm tall. Would thoroughly recommend this for a a cheaper chair for a larger person, and i have tried many

Bought this chair a replacement for my office chair which had become unstable. It was delivered promptly and was relatively easy to assemble. I do recommend 2 people for this however. The chair is firmer than my previous one but relatively comfortable. The big difference for me was that this chair sits you very upright which is great for working at a desk but less comfortable to sit back when watching Netflix or TV online.

Fauteuil avec une belle finition, plutôt confortable, fait pour les grands gabarits je fais 1,6m et au réglage le plus bas j'ai les pieds limites à plat au sol...

Effectivement le dossier est haut. Confortable, sans plus, mais très beau. Facile à monter en suivant les instructions précises. Bien pratique avec ses accoudoirs relevables. Bel article. Le 24/12/2020 Après deux années d' utilisation les coutures craquent (voir photos). Je ne pense donc pas que l'investissement dans cet article soit judicieux.
