Great looking watch. Good leather strap. Excellent that there is illumination when required at night. Had awhile now, still keeping perfect time. Worn while swimming in the sea, washed with bottle water on return to the beach. Still working great. Highly recommend.

I bought this watch as I wanted something classic but rugged. I love it! It’s not too big and bulky on my wrist, comfortable with the leather strap and holds time well. I also love the illumination feature which works really well. Well worth the money!

This is a very robust Watch. Made by watchmakers Timex, a brand you can trust.This is my third Expedition in 20 years. I have worn them continually in that time and find they put up with the riggers of my work as a carpenter, unlike many others. The light up dial is a brilliant function. used for the quick time check at night or places like the cinema so you don't disturb others or dazzle yourself. Don't buy a watch for its Brand name buy one worth having and for less.

Easy to read dial, looks good, and comfortable.

For the money this is a great everyday watch.

Lovely watch to start off my collection

I have had a few of these watches over the years and normally like the. They are easy to read and the light is great as I normally work nightshift. The straps are there usual downfall as they stretch but I normally buy heavy duty ones. This watch had issues as the day and date wouldn’t change and after a week the battery run flat it has been returned.

A really nice watch very comfortable to wear and very easy to read the watch. Very comfortable watch strap as well.

Bell'orologio, molto più bello dal vivo che in foto. Preso a 45€ durante i Prime Day poiché mi serviva un orologio per il lavoro, un orologio per il quale non devo preoccuparmi di eventuali segni o graffi. Molto bella la funzione Indiglo di Timex per illuminare tutto il quadrante. Okay, per la cifra che costa non aspettatevi chissà quali rifiniture per la cassa, alla fine è un orologio da tutti i giorni. Se proprio devo trovargli un difetto, in certi punti la lancetta dei secondi non è precisissima e non si ferma esattamente sulla tacca segnata dei secondi, ma roba veramente da poco, tanto nessuno sta lì a osservare secondo per secondo l'orologio. Acquisto sicuramente consigliato per chi cerca un orologio bello esteticamente, senza fronzoli, adatto anche per lavorare, senza preoccuparsi di graffiarlo.

Da meine 20 Jahre alte, hochwertige H3 Armbanduhr aus Schweizer Fertigung aufgrund verschiedener Fehler eingeschickt werden musste und vermutlich längere Zeit in Reparatur ist mußte für die Überbrückungszeit eine günstige Ersatzuhr her, wichtigste Eigenschaft: relativ robust und vor allen Dingen nachtleuchtend. Eine preisgünstige Uhr für die Übergangszeit, deren Ziffern auch nachts gut abzulesen sind, erwies sich jedoch als größere Schwierigkeit, egal was in der Beschreibung behauptet wurde. Es wurden also mehrere Uhren (ohne zusätzliche Beleuchtung) nach und nach bestellt - und wieder zurückgeschickt. Die Leuchtfunktion bei schlechtem Licht war zwar anfangs leidlich gegeben, zumindest an den Zeigern, aber eher mäßig und schwach - und die Leuchtkraft hielt auch nur wenige Minuten bis zu einer Stunde., so richtig überzeugt hat mich aber keine. Wohlgemerkt handelte es sich dabei um Uhren bis zu einer Preisklasse bis ca. 100 Euro, bei höherpreisigen Uhren mag dies anders sein. Also mußte ein Kompromiss her und diesen habe ich in der vorliegenden Timex Expdetion Robust gefunden. Die Uhr trage ich jetzt jeden Tag und auch nachts, sie geht genau und auch das Datum stellt sich ohne Probleme um 00.00 Uhr um, allerdings ist das Datumsfenster etwas klein - wie bei den meisten Armbanduhren. Größere Strapazen hat die Uhr noch nicht mitgemacht, ein Wasserbad hat sie aber klaglos überstanden. . Die Uhrzeit ist bei Tage auch ohne Beleuchtung gut ablebar, in der Dämmerung wird es schon schwieriger. Das Zifferblat ist relativ groß, was aber nicht unbedingt ein Nachteil ist. Eine ähnliche Timexuhr mit kleinerem Zifferblatt und einem Gehäuse aus einer Harzsubstanz hatte ich nämlich vorher bei Amazon bestellt. Diese Uhr sah am Handgelenk aus wie eine Kinderuhr und fühlte sich auch so an. Die jetzige Timex hat zumindest ein dickes, stabiles Gehäuse aus Metall, ob es Edelstahl ist weiß ich nicht. Die Uhr hat eine feststehende schwarze Lümette mit Kompassbeschriftung (N,S,O,W.),. Die Lümette ist nicht drehbar, also mehr Zier, sieht aber gut aus. Gamggenau ist die Uhr in jedem Falle. Das Armband ist aus braunem Leder und paßt gut zu dem Uhrgehäuse. Das wichtigste für mich war aber die Indiglio Beleuchtung. Diese leuchtet nur bei Druck auf den Einstellknopf sehr hell und immer ist eine zusätzliche Handbedienung notwendig. Mit meiner in Reparatur befindlichen Tritium H3 Uhr, also einer Uhr, deren Zeiger immer leuchten, ist das aber nicht vergleichbar. Dafür kostet diese Timex Expedition aber auch sehr deutlich weniger als eine hochwertigere Uhr von KHS, Traser oder Luminox und es wäre auch unfair hier diesen Maßstab anzulegen. Die Timex Uhr stellte für mich daher eine zufriedenstellende Lösung für den Übergang dar. Fazit: Wer also Wert auf eine gutaussehende und robuste Alltagsuhr legt (insbesondere als Zweituhr), eine Beleuchtung nur gelegentlich braucht, und mit der Zweihandbedienung zurecht kommt, bekommt für ca. 75 Euro eine gute Uhr für jeden Tag. Alternativen gibt es m. E. in dieser Preisklasse und mit diesen Extras keine vergleichbare , zumindest habe ich bei Amazon keine gefunden.

for one of the cheapest watches from Timex I have found it actually holds up better than most. This is my second purchase of this model after the first lasted 7 years until I hooked the crown on a towel and ripped it out while playing at the lake, otherwise i am sure it would have still been ticking.
