Gillette Fusion5 ProShield

Great price for a razor that I think is the best version of Gillette Fusion, much cheaper than the highstreet. I always get a close, smooth shave with no cuts. I have used other brands (including Wilkinson Sword, which butchered my face!) and other blades from Gilette, but this is easily the best blade. I'd highly recommend using with Gilette's own shaving cream or foam too.

I am very happy with the product. It actually does what they state. Soft to the skin while shaving? Yes very much and i have quite ruggish thick beard but it cut through it like butter and I didnt even feel the blades presence. Ive always bought Gillette and been satisfied with the results. Packaging could have been abit better (package box was open but atleast in my mailbox and nothing missing but still..)Atleast the items were intact and fully functioning as I wanted them so im very happy

I don’t often write reviews of purchases but for this one I will definitely make an exception. Without doubt I have never bought a better (or more expensive!) razor but in my opinion it is worth every penny. Admittedly I have jumped several evolutions of shaving technology since my last upgrade but this is a quantum leap improvement on my old razor. Not only does it give the closest shave I have ever experienced but the design of the shaving head allows it to move in a way that follows the contours of the face perfectly. The blade on the reverse side is great for getting at the short hairs under my nose which were almost impossible to deal with previously. Another thing I have found is that I very rarely cut myself when using this product which was certainly not the case with my old razor. Finally the cost. I have just bought my second pack which gives 9 blades plus a new razor for £25 on Amazon. The first pack lasted just over 6 months so this works out at about £1 a week or 15p a day which I think is well worth the money for for the sheer pleasure of enjoying such a good shave daily.

I have used many types of razors from cutthroat razors to double edge safety razors thinking they were the best value and the best quality for years.Going to this razor the difference is very apparent. Very smooth and comfortable shave. You can barely feel the razor, no shave rash, no uncomfortable face afterwards which I used to get and it takes a lot less time.Judging from reviews it’s likely I’ll get 6 months+ out of the razor and included blades as I only shave 2-3 times a week so it works out to be very good value. Once they run out I will happily buy another.

Last long, cost effective , good results

Love these razors, blades last a while and give a nice clean and smooth shave. I feel no irritation on the skin when I shave. Refill blades can be a bit expensive, but last a long time and are good enough quality to counter this.Exceptional product made by a well known brand. This is without doubt the best razor that Gillette have ever made. I will be buying this Gillette razor again.
