At first the product looks thin and flimsy, but it fits purpose well!I bought it with the intention of it lasting 1 trip to India via Abu Dhabi and back. (Inc an additional internal flight).It fit a 65 litre rucksack in with ease.The material lasted the trip apart from a hole (about the size of a 5p) on one of the two bags most likely from rough handling or being caught in a machine.It’s fair to say I can use the covers again for our next trip abroad.Light, reasonably cheap, strong enough and convenient. Just make sure you’ve got a means of threading through a cable and locking it at the “mouth” of the bag, I used a samsonite lock which has a draw cable that winds back into the lock which worked a treat.

Life saver when touring South America and India..you can fit a LARGE backpack inside, like a full sized one. Reassuring to know your valuables are protected on long journeys until you open up the lock.

Bought this for my son who's travelling to Vietnam/Thailand. Had been told that he needed to get an outer bag to put over his rucksack to prevent people from potentially sneaking drugs into his rucksack to act as a 'Mule'. This bag is next to useless. Yes it has a series of eyelets to thread a cable/padlock through, but has a draw-string cord as well with a press lock system to secure the draw-string. But, you can easily release the draw-string no matter how much you try and tuck it in and hide it - it's accessible. Once released, you can get your hands inside the bag along with 2KG of whatever drug you're trying to get through customs and "Re-seal" it with no evidence of the bag being tampered with. Next thing you know you're being carted off to do a long stretch in prison claiming "I didn't put the drugs in there"! Get another bag! This one is dog-crap bad.

The size is good and it's really easy to carry because of the handle but quality is quite poor because it ripped already after second use

I bought this to protect a rucksack for a 7 day trek in the Atlas mountains of Morocco. Each day it was loaded onto a mule. By the end of the week it had split that badly that I was unsure if my rucksack and sleeping bag would still be in it when I landed back in the UK. If you want something that will last I would not recommend this.

It does the job. The handle is well placed so one can carry the back pack. A zipped top would be more secure than the existing string pull.Otherwise excellent.
