Does this darken teeth as some brands do?

It doesnt appear to have darkened mine. My gums are a better colour. Paler and not so puffy

Does this have to be diluted?

It can be used neat, or diluted up to 50:50 if your mouth is too sensitive& you find it painful/uncomfortable, or if you want to use it continuously. Hygienist told me to use it neat when I get a mouth ulcer and/or sore, inflamed gums; but to use it diluted as an everyday gargle in between brushings.
