Great product and excellent value for money! The YouTube video shows exactly how you take off and install the front, fits generic Xbox one s controller perfectly! Some of the screws are fiddly so for sure need a little pot to put them in while installing! All in all excellent product would buy again!!

Thought it was a complete controller, so thought was getting a bargain. But turns out was just a cover. Anyway, was pleased with it. Good value, no screwdrivers thou, very comfy for the hands. Good overall

Will be returning this item and worry that the image used may be misleading? My son asked to get a new X Box 1 controller with Christmas Amazon vouchers. He chose this product believing that it was a controller and not just a front fascia. When it arrived we looked at the invoice image and, though it says "faceplate", it does look like a complete controller and I can see how my 12 year old mistook it for one.

Unfortunately I didn't realise this was a rigid plastic cover that has to be put on instead of the original. This only came as the top part of the controller too so even if we could find the screws to undo the handset and put this on the back would be different. I thought it was a silicone cover, my mistake but we will not use this item.

This is a great looking faceplate which really brings out the controller. The only slight drawback is that it needs fitting which requires a small amount of research & following some mildly fiddly but generally fairly easy instructions. Fortunately there are some pretty good YouTube vids dedicated to the process, so a quick search will unearth what’s required. Otherwise I’ve got no more to say: It fits perfectly, is fairly easy to fit & looks brilliant. Love it

I bought the PS4 version of this faceplate for my partner 2 years ago and now bought the Xbox version. Quality is great and feels like it came from Microsoft this way. Lovely sparkles and colour shifts, will get one soon for my own controller :)

The cover matches perfectly, but remove the original case from the control is really difficult.

Prend 5 minutes a installé et change complètement le look de la manette. Pourquoi payer 75$+ pour une nouvelle manette quand tu peux personnalisé celle que tu as déjà pour une quinzaine de dollars.

Pros: - 5 stars for everything about this face plate. - Color is amazing, and doesn't look like just a surface paint job. - It is so silky smooth to the touch (note, it's still hard ABS plastic, so "soft" isn't really the adjective for this.) But, while you can easily glide across the surface, when you actually hold it as if to play, there is definitely a grip to it. - It's a LOT cheaper than buying a new controller, especially if yours works fine. - The purple/blue chameleon also perfectly matches the "PowerA Fusion Wired Stereo Gaming Headset with Mic" of the Cosmos Nebula color. Cons: - If you have never tried to remove the faceplate on your factory controller, WATCH THE VIDEOS - not just the first one that pops up in the youtube search mentioned in the listing, but also the next one where the gentleman swaps his factory plate for a woodgrained one (that video was more helpful). Removing the side grips from your old one will be the hardest part of the process. No reason to ding stars from this product because my factory controller was built to not come apart easily, but it was a pain. - Now, once you get to the point of having your old face plate off - the installation of the new one is a breeze. DO pay attention that you get it lined up right before screwing it on (if the edges aren't lined up perfectly, it will feel like it doesn't fit). You should also note that the screws will feel tight as you reassemble due to the new plate never having screws in it. Side notes: - Yes, it is a face plate, not a skin, not a snap over style cover, it is a replacement face plate that requires you to manhandle and disassemble your controller. Doing so is obviously at your own risk, and if you're a kid, you should probably ask your grown up. - It is also NOT a whole controller. It very very clearly says this. (Seriously, there is a bad review because someone trusted a 12 year old who claimed they found a cheap controller, and now the parent is mad that it was just the face plate, so they left a bad review... That is not how reviews work.)
