Easy on back loading and unloading!
This works great! I’m an old geezer so getting into the box of my truck is a challenge. With this ladder I’m coming up in the world, oops, truck. Mounted on the right side so I’m out of traffic if something happens while traveling. It sturdy, light and can be placed straight back if needed. Great price and shipped fast. Easy to install. Its aluminum so not rust. Climb on in and get one.

Good Quality, Easy To Install And Use
I bought this bed ladder to help my fat butt get in and out of the bed of my truck a little easier. I weighed a little more the 250lbs when I bought and installed this ladder and I have had no issues with stability and access to the bed of my truck. I have been using this ladder for several months now and it still is holding up wonderfully. I really like the fact that the height of these steps are easily adjustable. The hand rail gives you extra support while climbing which is unique to this model and for only $90 well worth it. I would recommend installing on the passenger side of the tailgate though just to give you a little more clearance to get in the bed since the handle is located on the right side of the ladder and I don't see a way to reverse it. Hopefully the aforementioned will help keep you from having to drill into the wrong side of your tailgate as I did at first. Other than that it is very easy to install and put together and we'll worth the money. I am a very satisfied customer and have recommended your ladder to multiple people!

Wish I had looked for this sooner
Everytime I use this in the presence of others, I get a 'what!?' reaction. It deploys quickly and saves wear on my legs and back trying to climb into the bed of my full size truck. I have a GMC mid-size truck with the step recesses in the bumper corners, which are a nice feature. But my work truck is an older Ford F150 long bed and this ladder is a great addition to safe accessibility to my bed and tool box. Others have a one direction flip-down, but this one with the rotating attaching point, is the way to go. QUICK TIP (glad I thought of before I started drilling holes): Do a test fit in both rear-access and side-access positions to make sure the rubber pads make their connections in a good place and that all the clearances allow for full and proper use.

Very nice addition to modern "tall" tailgates
Truck: 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor Edition I use my truck bed quite a bit, and even as a tall person, it's tough to climb into the bed using the bumper step. Most under-bed steps don't work well with dual exhaust, so I really liked the option of a tailgate mounted ladder. This model pivots, which is helpful for loading motorcycles where you need to be able to step up directly from the rear while pushing the bike. The pivot seems to be strong enough, but I will keep an eye on it. I would have liked to see something with a greaseable bearing, but that would definitely have increased the cost. For the money, this appears to be made well enough. The welds aren't the prettiest, but they should hold up. The included hardware is probably good enough, but I really dislike self tapping screws when I can use bolts instead. My tailgate has a panel that can be removed with 8 screws, so I was able to mount the pivot assembly using 6 bolts instead of self tapping screws. The included "footman loops" are really too tall and I worried they would interfere with loading cargo, so I opted for a lower profile footman loop. Overall, I'm happy with how the ladder performs and have used it quite a bit already while working on things in the truck. I think it will be extremely useful when loading things into the bed, and is a great addition to the truck for not a lot of cost.

Great product
We have a camper shell on our Dodge and this stopped the frustration of climbing onto the tailgate to access back of truck.

Good purchase but needs modifying
Ok, for $85 I think it's a good investment. HOWEVER..... don't think you will be totally satisfied for $85 and no work. I needed to modify both, the tailgate AND the ladder. The handrail is poorly designed, a) it's too long for their own design, and b) it's not sturdy. The handrail is merely for balancing yourself, not handling your weight. The handrail is weak and by no means to pull yourself up or down. Point #2; make sure you line this up in a fashion that will be structurally sound; I had to add flatstock aluminum to my tailgate to make it balance, not all tailgates are flate or one piece, mine is neither. Point #3, and most importantly; the tie down method absolutely sucks. Install is easy, operation is easy, keeping it secure to your tailgate is garbage. I tried multiple ways and drilled extra holes in my tailgate trying to keep it secured and from rattling around. I ended up eliminating one of the supplied strap connectors and using a steal bracket, which is long enough to keep the ladder from bouncing over it and rattling against my tailgate. The downside is having pieces of metal permanently attached to my tailgate where I sit and work. I will modify this further to minimize it, but it's good for now. I also shortened the handrail about 3" so the ladder would sit more flatly against the tailgate. These are big design flaws, but workable. Also worth noting, this appears used. The rubber feet were tore up before I even used the ladder. Overall, I believe this is a good purchase, but would not have simply worked without modifications. I'm using it on a 2010 lifted F250.

Merci!
