Leomund’s Tiny Loo (Wondrous Item, Rare, May Require Attunement)
I was definitely skeptical about buying a robot litter box. However, scooping the cat box is the single chore my husband and I both loathe equally. We recently adopted a second kitty who is much pickier about his litter box, bigger, and somehow produces double the waste of our first cat.So I broke down and invested in the Leo’s Loo Too. After reading several reviews, I picked this item over the competitors because of the improved safety functions, UV sterilization, and frankly the chew-proof cord. Our older cat is a compulsive chewer, and I was really impressed by this detail. Smarty Pear really thought of everything! Our experience so far has been 5-star. Here are the pros and (singular) con we’ve discovered:Pros:-No scooping! This is the biggest benefit and arguably worth every penny.-Waste drawer is a good size! Even our pair of prolific producers take 4-5 days to fill it up.-UV sterilization is nice, and definitely does reduce odors. We have our box tucked away in a closet under the stairs, and there’s definitely no odor noticeable in our house.-Even our big, picky cat adjusted with no problems. We removed the two boxes we had before and put this one in the same place with the same brand of litter, and both cats took to it right away.-It’s so quiet. We don’t even notice it running.-The app is nice and full-featured. I’ve never been so fascinated by my cats’ bathroom schedule.Con:- The under-stair closet is the one place in our house that still has carpet, which interferes with the weight sensors (according to the instructions, the box has to be on solid flooring to have the weight sensors function properly). This isn’t a big deal to us as it still senses weight enough to run when it needs to run. But if you are buying this box because you want an accurate log of your cat’s weight, make sure you’re able to put your box somewhere with solid flooring and not carpet. We set the box up after work one evening, removed both the old litter boxes, and went to bed. The next morning, the app alerted me that eleven cleaning cycles had been run overnight. That seemed high, so I went to check the waste door and caught our big orange kitty stepping in and out of the box just so he could watch it spin. I changed the cleaning cycle to a three-minute delay, and we’re down to a normal number of cleaning cycles now. Both the cats and humans in our house are very happy with our purchase so far!----UPDATE: Two months in, I ran into an issue where the unit stopped rotating, and then once I got it to rotate again, it rotated constantly. Customer service was quick to assist via email, even on a weekend, and solved the issue (which was really not the unit's fault, as there was litter buildup in the wheels beneath the drum causing the initial problem). It was a simple fix, they got me up and running quickly, and were very helpful. The unit is working perfectly again.I'm glad I picked Smarty Pear!

Using for 7 months honest review
I bought this Loo loo last November 2022.It was way cheaper back then than the other litter robot.I thought to invest on it because I have two adult cats and being a traveler, this would help me a lot and it did. For two cats, it would take 4-5days before the drawer gets full and need to be replaced. As for the the drum itself, cleaning it regularly every month is recommended. So it won't smell and also this will prevent accumulation of litter into the base. It was like a cleaning maintenance, which is a must do.Design: I like the way it was design, my cat don't need a stool to reach and go inside, it has a paw silicon pad to step on.Features: It does the job. Cleaning, clumping, scoop free, like once the poop drawer gets full, all you need to do is collect the bag and then replace a new bag.I like how it has an app that you can monitor with. It is very easy to follow and install.Quality: The entire robot is a good quality, I have been using it for 7 mos now but it is still intact, no loose parts or breaking any parts. However, there's only one problem occur which I believe common for a machine that has a sensor. As I have mentioned above, I never failed to maintain the cleanliness of this litter robot, to make sure no debris or blockage. But for some reason, the anti-pinch sensor got an issue. Their customer service/support has no phone number but they have email address where you can drop an email. You can also contact Amazon customer service and they will help to get in touch with Leo Loo/SmartyPear customer support.I was surprised how they are very responsive and helpful.First, they provided me a steps for troubleshooting but looks like initial troubleshooting doesn't work and the robot base needed to return and be replaced.I was glad that this don't cost me anything because it is still within it's one year warranty. They order and send a new base for delivery to me. I only waited like 3-4 business days before it arrived. All you need to do is follow their instruction as well. They can even set up a pick up for the faulty base. Now, I am happy that it's working again just like new.
