Desert Cactus University of Minnesota UM Flag - 3 x 5 Feet Golden Gophers Banner, Indoor/Outdoor Durable Fabric, 100% Polyester Design (Style B)

As a native Minnesotan, I have been a Golden Gophers fan ever since I remember. When I saw this flag, I ordered it to be added to my collection of fan gear. I do not have a flagpole at this time, so I hung it on the wall next to my Vikings banner.I really like the graphic design of this flag. I think that Goldy looks happy, strong, confident and proud. The colors are the correct shades of maroon and gold. I also like that the design is printed into the fabric, rather than on top of it. This way, I do not have to be concerned with it chipping off. It is made of a somewhat thin nylon material. The edges are hemmed very well and on the left side there is thick canvas sewn on; this is where the two grommets are located.I appreciate that the U of M has approved the design of this flag, and that this seller (Desert Cactus) pays out a portion of the proceeds to the school. I believe it was put together very well with high quality materials. I expect that it will hold up quite well over time, whether hung inside or outside. I would buy this Minnesota Golden Gopher flag again and I do recommend it to others.

I ordered this officially licensed U of MN Gophers flag to hang in my office (and show off my Gopher pride) and it looks terrific. The maroon and gold colors are as expected, and seeing Goldie Gopher everyday makes me smile. Even though I read the measurements when I ordered it, I was amazed by how large the flag is. The nylon is good quality, and the grommets are on a strip of heavier fabric at one end of the flag.On a side note, I also appreciate that the seller (Desert Cactus) is an LGBT certified business because I personally strive to support diversity in every way possible. Ski-U-Mah!

The flag is a 3x5 foot flag. The size is very nice. Grommets for the mounting of it.This is a wall hanging flag - putting it outside will end the life of this flag QUICKLY.On the wall, the colors and size look very attractive. It is a nice addition to the garage/office where this will hang.I hoped this could fly on my OUTSIDE pole but it's only a wall hanger.

My grandson loves football. NFL and surprisingly to me, College. And for personal factors to him that don't require sharing here, he is a fan of the Gophers. I was not surprised when he was given a choice between this item and a Gophers flag without Goldie on it, that he chose this one.We also were not surprised that this item would be welcome and awesome, as it is not the first item of this kind he has on the wall of his bedroom. And we were not let down. He is delighted to add this to his collection and it looks great on his wall.

What a better way to show off your University of MInnesota pride than to actually have Goldy the Golden Gopher on your flag! I thought about getting the plain M one, but this one has the beloved mascot on it. Much better!It's a flag. I can't say I know how it will wear in the wind, but maybe I will keep it inside on a bulletin board. The quality seems decent and the colors are accurate.

This is a good sized 3x5 flag printed on both sides. The maroon and gold colors are great and I love having Goldy on the flag instead of only the M. The metal grommets are attached well and the binding is sewn in a way that should hold up in the wind. What a great way to show the spirit of the Golden Gophers!

I have another flag from the same company and it has held up in the sun and wind. Almost no fading and the stitching has held nicely. This flag is of the same quality; the stitching is good, the graphics are flawless and the colors are true to the school. Love it and highly recommend this company no matter what school you root for!

This Flag featuring Goldy Gopher and the iconic 'M' I found to be perfect for my use - hanging inside and occasionally bringing to a game. (FYI the seller also has other designs with just the classic 'M'). The flag has two metal loops where you could attach it, and appears to me to be made out of higher quality polyester material. The flag is fairly large, I included a ruler in the picture for comparison. Colors are perfect and it does appear to be officially licensed. While the material was honestly higher quality than I anticipated, I would classify at is between thinner and thick, so if you kept this outside in bad weather it may not last as long. However, if you want a nice flag to show your school spirit indoors or in favorable weather I think this is a great choice and reasonably priced given it's officially licensed.
