Couple of issues. I have one piece toilet. The brackets to be attached to the seat were far apart. Could only engate them in seat holding screws by twisting them around. Also caps of the brackets could not be put on as that will raise toilet seat too high in the front. We have cold and hot water supplies with standard sockets. Cold water attachment went on fine but we are still searching for hot water reducer socket for hot water connection to go on. Once we will find it we can use it. How it will work still needs to be seen.

I have to agree with Count Simon. I am a pretty handy plumber and odd-job man and I thought I could probably source a compatible set of adapters to manage to connect this item to UK plumbing. I would have happily not used any of the connecting components they supply in the box and tried to connect with mostly UK plumbing (valves, flexible hoses etc) with an adapter or two onto the bidet unit. After several emails backwards and forwards between me and the manufacturers in California, and also buying some american NPT to UK BSP adapters we still couldn't get there. I had originally thought that the bidet presented with a pair of 3/8" NPT male connectors. I couldn't source a direct 3/8" NPT female to 1/2" BSP male adapter anywhere. But I could do it in two steps - first, 3/8" NPT female to 1/2" NPT male adapter, then second, 1/2" NPT female to 1/2" BSP male (which would have then connected with no problem to a UK flexible hose). But when the bidet arrived, it turned out that it does not have 3/8" NPT male connectors as their website suggests, with the NEO model they are in fact much smaller and in correspondence with Luxe they described them as 3/8" NPSM threads. I could find no adapters in the UK or US that would easily allow that NPSM conversion to 1/2" BSP. In the end, Luxe's support team said - "The alternative parts we suggest will be compatible with North American toilets, but if your toilet has international fittings, there may be compatibility issues. ........ If you need additional parts to fit your setup, you will need to find them at your local hardware store. However, if you're still having trouble finding the correct parts, we suggest contacting Amazon UK to initiate a refund and return your bidet." So reluctantly I am returning the bidet and will look to alternative makes that are more compatible with UK plumbing. Mike

The plumbing threads are American and don't fit UK threads, I was unable to source an adaptor which would fit so totally useless item.
