Just amazing, I just wish the bag was made of an organic material that could be cleanly burned. We had to haul around this fish smelling bag for three days in black bear backcountry. Although I hung it from a tree far away from camp. It made me sleep with one eye open just in case a bear smelled the delightful dinner from nights past. Still the food was amazing and hit the spot on a cold winter night in the backcountry of North Carolina. I will buy this again.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! I was completely surprised by this. My girlfriend is pescatarian and I was hesitant to commit to sharing a meal pouch with her (assuming I would prefer some heavier protein on the trail for my heartier appetite). Boy was I glad I did. This really satisfied and I didn't regret paying a few dollars more.

This was delicious! Will buy again, even might eat it a few nights.I at the entire bag for my meal, but I tend to only eat twice a day, so your mileage may vary.

This was a splurge so that we could have a "fancy" treat for dinner one night on a 8 night trip. The flavor was really rich and not so tasty, I would definitely not waste my money on this one.

This is the best backpack meal ever. A little pricey as far as meals go but worth the extra if you want something special. Course anything tastes pretty good after a long day of backpacking :)

Other varieties from this company are much better. Especially the pad Thai. Don’t spend the extra money.

This meal was the absolute best backpacker meal that I've had in 28 years of eating pre-packaged and homemade meals for trips on the AT. It grieves me deeply that they have stopped making it due to a sourcing issue. PLEASE, someone make this dish again.
