Seems to work, and work well, good price, not too excessive on the heat buildup like I've seen with a few other brands of this same type of module. Some brands get hot enough to maybe burn you it seems, certainly uncomfortable to touch. This one has been just fine, working away handling the great bulk of my internal network traffic.

Accepts fiber and works flawlessly on my two Unfi switches. One goes to a 10Gbe Aggregation and the other to a satellite Unifi enterprise switch using link aggregation. No heat dissipation whatsoever.

Plugged into Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Fiber and works with no issues so far.

I added the 80m unit (ASF-10G-T80) to my UniFi Dream Machine Pro. It worked fine with the UDM-Pro, but was unable to establish a 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps link with my AT&T Fiber gateway (BGW320). If you need 1/2.5/5Gbps support, stick to the shorter-range version (ASF-10G2-T). The good news, though: this did run appreciably cooler than other SFP-to-RJ45 adapters I have tried!

I am using these inside of a cave that we have run fiber in. The SFP's are low cost and have worked perfect. I don't see a need to spend a fortune on SFP's from the big manufacturers. The Unifi gear they are plugged into had no trouble detecting and using them immediately after they were installed. I would recommend getting a matched pair but that is probably not necessary.

Using this with UDM Pro 4.0, connection drops every 4 seconds with 10 GBe to Bell Canada GigaHub. Enabled Jumbo Frames in UDM and connection became stable.

I used this one in a UDM-SE and it works great.

I just plugged it in, added an RJ-45 patch cable and it worked just fine. These adapters get quite warm, so i stuck a small, very low power, fan to my switch, directly blowing on this Transceiver - problem solved.
