Arrived in two boxes because, as I found out, this sucker is much more solid and way heavier than you may think. It goes together like traditional flat-pack furniture; however, take considerable attention with the instructions. Although clear and straightforward, the door's soft close hinges, as shown in the diagram, are in the wrong orientation, and the screws mounting inside the cabinet section are shown in the wrong holes...they go into the slotted ones which give you adjustment distance to use. This caused confusion as when I mounted them as instructed, I had to adjust the hinge way out and still did not have the space for the door and when a part unscrewed and fell out out due to trying to get adjustment, I discovered there was no way to get that piece back in without bending things and that just caused me to go get new hinges at Home Depot for $12 for a pair, and they were better and easier to install two-piece units. That's just learning as I go. I am using this as a server rack unit in my loft for rack-mount computer equipment. Dedicated short-height network racks are very industrial looking and anything with decent depth that looks good for a home is easily $1,000. The open back of this particular unit is unobstructed and therefore lends itself to airflow if not against the wall. The actual inside dimension is almost 24" high and 22" depth, which means 13.7u of converted actual height, and if one bought a set of 12u rails and mounted them in the back, like I did, they could screw in some 20" rails and have nice sliding 20-22" 4u server case, which is what I am using. a pair of Rosewill 4u chassis for a main computer and network-attached storage, plus another switch mounted and a UPS would also go well all in that unit, finishing up with a rackmount drawer to take up the rest of the space. It has a high Wife Approval Factor and when built, is heavy! The caster wheels are very nice and will mount onto the legs provides or onto the bottom in screw-in sockets so you dont need the legs. Regardless, the legs and feet make it exactly 30" desk height. Using castered wheels only lose about an inch and a half. Very solid unit. And yes it is a bit pricey, but for something this quality and what it can handle, it's pretty much worth the money because nobody else is making a nice looking rack mount cabinet for this money, unless its something you can do yourself.

I’ve seen other people comment about how this is hard to put together/has mis drilled holes/etc but if you just READ THE DIRECTIONS it goes together flawlessly. WELL packaged with all pieces labeled properly, all hardware labeled properly, easy to follow directions and when it’s all put together it is extremely sturdy. Does not look like a cheap piece of crap like other pieces of furniture I’ve put together over the years. Took me about 30min to assemble and will last a lifetime in my studio.

Looks and works well, especially in a church atmosphere where looks are important.

Company very responsive. Comes in 3 boxes. One was mismarked and as a result read 2 sets of legs and hardware, and not the upper part of the unit that houses components. Despite the fact that it was within the 30 day window to deal with Amazon, the company handled the issue because of the mismarked box. Just waiting for the new box to arrive so can finish assembly and get to business. Do need a drill in addition to those listed.

It's tough to write a review on an item that's 1/2 built. I suppose I should start by saying that my issue is with the seller and not the quality of the desk. I've had to order this desk twice, and both times the desk was missing actual parts and hardware. Since this is a third-party seller, Amazon was not able to help me. So now I'm stuck with a $650 desk. After contacting the seller, their solution was for me to return the desk since it would take months to receive the missing parts which obviously they knew they were missing. I said "I'm halfway building it, the boxes are gone, and you want me to break it down again?". Amazon said they would not be attending to this matter any longer. Long story short, go directly to the manufacturer. Do not deal with this vendor or Amazon for this desk. The desk sure seems sturdy, and targeted to producers. Sadly this vendor and Amazon will not help you at all.

I’ve been shopping around for a studio desk for a while. I spend a lot of time at my desk for work and play and it was just getting out of control with all the stuff and I needed something that looked nice in the house. This desk is perfect. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. It was super easy to set up and organize everything to how I needed it. It has really cool features like hiding the cables in the legs and it’s very sturdy. I really love it.

Took some time to build but is a great product. Extremely sturdy, and therefore heavy (especially when loaded), so won’t be moved very often so very satisfied with it so far!

Estaba algo preocupado por unas valoraciones que comentaban que les habia llegado en mal estado pero en mi caso llegó muy bien empacado. Las instrucciones fueron bastante claras por lo que resulto sencillo de ensamblar. Si buscas una alternativa a un rack de servidor o un gabinete de red pero que sea visualmente atractiva y que tu esposa no te cuelgue por lo feo que se ve, esta es la opción.

Tenía una pequeña abolladura en uno de los páneles posteriores. No es perceptible ya que está en la parte de atrás, sin embargo corrí con suerte ya que viene muy mal empacado. La calidad es superior. A pesar de que no parece ser madera sólida, el acabado es grueso y no se ve que se vaya degradar facilmente. Los herrajes son de un metal ligero también muy resistente. El armado es sencillo si se cuenta con la herramienta adecuada. Las instrucciones son lo suficientemente claras y para todas las piezas hay refacciones incluídas.
