In Twisted Love and Twisted Games, we got a glimpse of Josh, and he wasn't a character I liked very much. He was very arrogant and selfish. Starting the book, I didn't know if I wanted him to have any kind of happy end ing if it was paid for or not. But then he and Jules end up working/volunteering at the same place, his sister keeps inviting him places so that he and Alex can get back to friends. So, it makes sense that Jules and Josh are thrown together very frequently and begin to not hate each other as much without really realizing it. Their back-and-forth banter is hilarious. They have chemistry there is no denying it. And they want to hold on to that hate that they have been so comfortable with since they have known each other. That is until they have hate intimacy and that just changes everything. They can't get enough of each other so they make a pact to keep having the hate intimacy. There are rules. Rules that are broken left and right. And it's so hot and steamy and angry that it makes it hotter. When I say I've read a lot of steamy books it's been about hundreds and hundreds of books. But when I tell you I have NEVER read anything like that bedroom scene with the silk scarves. It left me without words, without the ability to form a single thought. Then when my mind rebooted I realized how lucky Jules was. This man has put all the book boyfriends to shame. He has set the bar unrealistically high. This was honestly Ana Huang's best book of the series. The tone of the book was slightly darker than the other two and it was definitely angrier than the others and it worked so well. When you break it down Jules and Josh are two broken people who need someone to trust. They gravitate towards each other because someone who hates you isn't going to lie to you. They will tell you the truth even if it hurts. And the truth does hurt them. It hurts them in a way that leaves the reader crying because how can it get that bad. You want them to just learn that it's ok to be loved, its ok to trust and its ok to not always get along. Jules does things to keep Josh from hating her for real and Josh does something that destroys her. UGH my heart. I know how it ends but I am still devastated reliving that one scene where Josh says "I lied." I cried for both of them. They didn't deserve that. And then who he turns to, to help him when the one person he loves is hurt is very surprising. What he does is even more surprising. Read the book. It is everything you need in your life. It is so good. I pre-ordered this book middle of last year and also signed up for the arc because I couldn't wait any longer. LOL. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! *I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a complimentary copy* Review: Josh and Jules - Quote:"Remember when I said I forgive you, I lied." That quote right there was.... I wasn't ready for itš«š© I love the enemies-to-lovers trope; it's one of my favorites. I enjoyed how this book and Twisted Games intertwined with one another and hearing from familiar characters. I'm so happy for the other two couples and how life is going for them and Josh & Jules belong together! This was a solid and entertaining read, and I look forward to buddy reading the last book with my bestie.

When it comes to Ana Huang books, you know youāre in for a wild ride. But itās not just the exceptional steam that gets my attention about these books, itās the depth of these characters, the trauma theyāve suffered and overcome, the strength thatās both obvious and hidden and the relationships they build with everyone else in the books. While Bridget and Rhys are always going to be my absolute favourite of the series, Jules and Josh blew me away. And itās in part the intensity of these characters and in part the story that Ana managed to tell between all the hate and banter and beautifully explicit sex. Jules Ambrose and Josh Chen hate each other. Everyone knows it, they donāt try to hide it. They are constantly at each otherās throats, they bicker, argue and fight all the time. With them, thereās no holding back. It started when Jules and Ava (Joshās sister and heroine from Twisted Love) were in college and sharing a dorm. Jules overheard something Josh said about her to Ava and she didnāt hold back on showing him just how little she cares about him. And to Josh, Jules has always come across as reckless and wild, which irritates him because he believes that if Jules is involved, Ava is going to get herself into a whole lot of trouble that he canāt save her from. And over the years, the hate and banter and rage has turned into simmering sexual tension that almost everyone around them can feel, so when they make a deal to enjoy an enemies with benefits situation, neither of them hesitate. Except, the more you sleep with someone, the more you see them for who they are and suddenly all those feelings you thought you never felt before bubble to the surface. I donāt think there are enough words for me to say to talk about how awesome this book was. So much happens in this book that I obviously canāt mention in my review, but what I can definitely tell you is that the sexual tension and chemistry in this book is insane. Jules and Josh spend a good part of the book snapping at each other, and Iām talking proper enemies to lovers situation here. They hate each otherās guts and donāt care about hurting the other person. Words spew out and itās kinda intense. But, itās also so well done. I enjoyed their wicked dialogue and the way they push each otherās buttons, I enjoyed watching Jules knock Josh down a peg or two. Sheās all fire, and not just because of her red hair, Jules is bada** and sheās not going to let anybody stop her from living her life the way she wants. She fights for what she wants, sheās opinionated and forward, confident and passionate and even though life dealt her a bad hand at one point, sheās come a long way since her traumatising childhood to have something so great, sheās not going to let just anyone take it away from her. Josh, if youāve read Twisted Love then youāll know all of this, has been through his own share of crazy thingsāhis fatherās gone to prison, he almost lost his sister, he did lose his best friendāand through it all, he had to stand tall and strong and itās taken a toll on him. Between that and his residency, Josh is basically stretched so thin that fighting with Jules is the highlight of his life. I loved the steam, as I always do with Anaās books, but the thing that really got me was the slow build of Jules and Joshās relationship. You know itās coming, because DUH. But itās the way it happens. Itās slow and then all of a sudden it just whacks you in the face. And Iām a sucker for romances where he falls first after spending a good portion of the book wanting to kill her. And watching Josh go through the motions of his feelingsādenying, accepting, confusion, denyingāwas an absolute treat. I loved their friendship too and how they leaned on each other when they least expected it, how their lives changed because of the other person and how everything in their lives just made sense with each other. And, now that weāve met the very delicious hero that gets to charm and win Stella over, I am even more curious about her book. I cannot wait for Twisted Lies, because if these first three books are anything to go byā¦itās going to be truly awesome.

Jules and Josh just reminded me about a couple I used to know some years ago⦠𫣠We were young and stubborn, like them⦠and we were always getting on fire when together, also just like them. š Luck me I didnāt have a āMaxā in my life⦠and poor of me I didnāt have him at the endā¦ š¤·š»āāļø Seriously, I liked so much the story. Besides Julesā problems, the story ended in a perfect way. Ana writes with her heart, for sure! Iām looking forward to read about Stella and Christianā¦

Well⦠Lets start with⦠I donāt even know where to start This was absolutely unquestionably AMAZING. Like this was so so good and I canāt explain how good this book was built up through out twisted love and twisted games. This is probably the best book with bantering Iāve read. Like DAMN the conversations between them was so good it had me laughing, smirking and screaming. Theyāre relationship was so fantastic and the way the looked out for each other is dream worthy. Josh being protective and jealous was seriously one of my favorite things with this book. No I seriously loved all of it and as with the two first books the writing was amazing and I have NOTHING to complain about. Iām so excited to read twisted lies and I canāt wait for my copy to show up out side my door, I have devoured every book so far and thereās no doubt in my mind I will devour the last one as well, I even have a feeling itās going to be my absolute favorite in this series
