The motor must must attach to the old frame bracket of your Nutrone Miami Carey exhaust fan. What is the distance between the two bolts that have the nut on each one, what is the distance between them dead center to dead center. Then we can know if the new motor will be able to mount onto old bracket, yes you need the old bracket. Please let me know. Thanks best regards.

China , holding the original motor next to this one for comparison , they looked exactly the same. Maybe the frame on the new one was a little beefier, quality looked O.K. to me .

Just so I understand properly: you want to know if the bolts and nuts that hold the motor to the frame can be reversed and installed the opposite direction? Yes! I was able to completely remove the bolts and nuts from the motor. While I chose to reinstall them in the direction they came out, it is a simple task to flip them over.
