I bought this as a substitute for a cast iron grill plate. Same size, same pattern on both front and back as my cast iron griddle... HOWEVER, this aluminum grill plate has a non-stick surface that makes cleaning a breeze PLUS I don't need to worry about seasoning the surface or rust. No "hot-spots" since the plate conducts heat evenly, and it allows me to char the steak's surface quickly for "black and blue", char-rare, or blackened Cajun Style. I'll get several more for my RV and for Christmas gifts! Well worth the price!

Versatile for different cooking methods

Fits my smaller barbeque in my trailer and my larger on at home. I use it on my barbeque for grilling vegetables, fries and anything else you would normally cook on a griddle. Very easy to clean. The cooking surface is 12" x 12" the 12" x 14" measurement is with the handles included. Size is very good.

Product is good but be aware to comes disassembled. First time ever I have to assemble a pot to use.

Love this griddle. Non stick and easy cleaning.
