Smart Oven Top Bamboo Cutting Board For Kitchen, HI-BOV800CB, Convection Toaster Oven Butcher Block with Anti-Slip Feet, 17.8x10.8

I purchased this to sit on top of my Cuisinart/Breville Deluxe Convection Toaster Oven. This oven has top vents as well as side vents so you cannot generally put anything on top of the oven due to the high heat. In researching this issue, I saw that the company came out with a cutting board with silicone feet that is custom-designed to fit on top of this oven. That would be the solution to the high heat stopping you from using the top of the oven for storage of things like baking pans, etc. However, the cutting board is outlandishly expensive ... just not the kind of cash I wanted to spend on an already pricey oven.... especially since I was not going to use it as a chopping block but just as a heat solution. I was able to find this cutting board by spending a few minutes searching dimensions - I compared the sizing and foot placement of THIS cutting board with the top of my oven and it looked like it was going to fit almost perfectly, and about $25 cheaper. And it does fit perfectly as if made for MY oven. The feet are spaced just right and never get more than slightly warm to the touch and the wood is barely warm also. Since I live in an apt with small kitchen, the extra storage space on top of the oven really came in handy for storing my silicone oven pads and mitts, the bamboo rack push/puller, a decorative little chicken statue and some small baking pans. I see this particular model is currently out of stock, but a quick check shows there are at least two other brands that have the same sizes and foot placements that would work as well.

I brought this for the top of my sage mini over nice bamboo I wouldn't use for cutting anything too nice for that but I'd use it to serve also good to keep things on top while using oven without scratching the stainless steel top

I needed more prep space as I live in a tiny studio apartment. This was perfect, or as close to perfect I could find! I use the burners on the right and prep on the left. On the occasion I need more burners it's easy to move over to my one other counter. Good buy!

Good quality bamboo chopping board, well made and sturdy, feet fit perfectly on oven and prevent it slipping. Raised enough that heat is not a issue and perfect for placing items on the oven without scratching the top. Only downside is the price, reall this should be half the cost.

Must-have for Breville toaster oven. The oven is top-rated by Consumer Reports but, like most of them, it gets hot on top. It’s hard to resist putting things on top of the oven. You don’t have to worry about that with this cutting board. It’s real wood, but it has tough silicone feet - so it’s safe on top of a hot oven. Just leave it there so nothing else melts or burns. Very good quality. It looks good and cleans easily. A little pricey, but worth it for the extra storage space and safety.
